Again, Jim finds himself unable to sleep.
He brings a dozen coffees in takeaway cups home with him and he drinks them through the night.
And doesn't everyone know that caffeine is the best thing (or sometimes the worst thing) when you can't sleep.
It depends if you want to be awake.
And at the moment, Jim doesn't want to risk sleeping.
Because sleeping means dreaming.
And that, well thst leads to nightmares.
Nightmares about Catherine.
And when he is awake and heading to the train (but this time fully dressed).
He isn't even surprised when he notices she isn't there.
But what he does notice is a strange feeling, one he feels in his heart.
It's loneliness.
