Callie's P.O.V.

I sat at the bar, some blonde bimbo to the left of me and some drunken old man to the right. A half drunken glass of some disgusting whiskey made its way to my lips, it burned my throat but I didn't care; I just wanted wanted to forget last night. I downed the rest in one gulp, my stomach churning. This is not how your supposed to face your problems, but it worked. I walked outside to the small patio area and scrolled through Tumblr, but my mind drifted from weird posts to Alec. I should text him, maybe a call? I can't ignore him forever, but I mean, its only been like 13 hours.

"You okay?" I turned to look at a girl, my age maybe a bit older. Her hair was short, blonde with what looked like red highlights, she was rather tall and slim.

"Im fine, thanks." The girl sat besides me and sighed.

"Who is he?" She looked at me and I chuckled.

"What do you mean?"

"The look on your face is the look of a girl in love, but things aren't exactly picture perfect in the land of love. So, who is he and what did he do?" I laughed again and shook my head, running my hands through my greasy hair.

"His name is Alec, and he's done nothing, its me. I pushed him away when all he wants to do is help me, but I'm bringing him down with my problems. I just want him happy." I sighed, my eyes threatened to flood my cheeks with warm tears.

"Girl, obviously he's happy with you, without you he must be a hot mess. If he's willing to ruin his life for you, then your becoming his life, your his top priority. No one but you, don't push him away if he wants to stay."

"I just don't know-"

"If you don't know then go find out." I laughed at her as she smiled, I handed her my phone.

"Put in your number, your not so bad." She laughed and put in her number. We parted our ways after another 15 minutes and by now it was 11:26 p.m., so I dialed Alec's number. It rung three times until a somewhat awake Alec answered.

"Who is this?"

"Callie." I heard his breathing spread up a little, obviously awake now.

"Are you okay, please tell me you're okay?' I laughed quietly.

"I'm fine, a little tipsy, but I'm fine." He sighed.

"Do you need a ride home?"

"No, I need a ride to your place." I bit my lip nervously, if he said no I would understand.

"Where are you?" I smiled.

"Ravens Bar on 3rd."

"Be there soon." Alec hung up and I leaned against a post, waiting for him to come get me.

Alec pulled up in his blue jeep, and I hopped in. As soon as I buckled he pulled out of the parking lot and started towards his dorm. I looked at him and watched his features in the dark car. We came to a red light and I took my opportunity to start a conversation.

"Hi, I'm Callie." I giggled and Alec raised an eye brow and looked at me. He hadn't shaved so he had some stubble on his face, and his eyes had bags under them, he kind of looked like shit.

"You look like shit," Alec laughed, "but like hot shit. Your really hot." Alec shook his head as he chuckled. I watched his eyes reflect with light as a car drove past us.

"Thanks Cal."

"Your welcome." We arrived outside Alec's dorm and he parked the jeep. We got out and I followed him through the building to his room. Once we got into his dorm I raided his kitchen, Alec just laughing.

"Your lucky Steve isn't here this week."

"Why so?" I playfully wiggled my eye brows as Alec wrapped his arms around my waist.

"So we can talk things over, what happened the other night." I slumped and Alec lifted my chin,
"I care about you, Callie. I don't want you to push me away."

"It's not that, I just want you to live your life. I feel like I'm holding you back, making you miserable." I felt a tear slip down my cheek, but Alec's thumb wiped it away.

"Callie, your not making me miserable, except when you push me away."

"I don't like this, can we just snuggle and make out or something?" Alec chuckled, I felt his chest vibrate.

"Say the magic words."

"I love you." Alec's eyes widened.

"No, I meant, umm I meant 'rawr' but hey, I guess they mean the same thing." I shook my head and kissed his pink lips.

"Your a dork."

"And your a drunk dork, who told me I'm really hot."

"Shut up."

"Your not hot though," Alec flinched when I hit his shoulder. "Your beautiful." I flushed Scarlett, and Alec kissed me.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
