Narrator's Pov
They light travelled everywhere and finally found Temari.
"TEMARI!" screamed Hitomi,"YOU HAVE TO HELP ME!"
"What?" asked Temari.
Hitomi clasped her hands together,"Please train me in wind element chakra thingy!"
"And what if I don't?"
Hitomi let one arm down, but her left remained in the air,"Well, then I guess SOKUSH-"
"OKAY OKAY!" said Temari holding her hands up in a "I surrender" pose.
"Why all of a sudden, you want to learn wind anyway?" Temari asked.
"Kakashi said it might help me with my blindness." Hitomi said...cheerfully.
"O.O Your blind? Is that why in the arena-"
"Yeah, hehe." Hitomi rubbed the back of her neck.
"Well....I can teach you about how to control wind with fans, I'm pretty sure once you get the hang of it you'll find some way for it to help you."
"YAY! How long do we have until the finals?"
"A month." Temari answered.
"Do you know who I'm versing?" asked Hitomi.
"Your-"
Haruka shook her head at Temari and signaled for her to be quiet. Temari, who was slightly confused, understood,"-I don't know."
"Oh." Hitomi said frowning.
"Soooooo, when do you want to start?"
"NOW!" Hitomi said excitedly.
"Well.. Okay?"
"HECK YESH!" Hitomi fist pumped, but tripped on a rock."TT^TT"
Haruka and Temari chuckled and Haruka turned to Temari,"I'm trusting her in your care, if anything happens, tell me."
Temari nodded and Haruka disappeared. Temari looked at Hitomi who was sitting perfectly still, head straight forward. It was kind of creepy. Well might as well start now. "I'm going to get you a fan."
Hitomi smiled excitedly,"Yay!" She grabbed onto Temari and followed her.
***TIME SKIP***
Hitomi had been through a lot of training for this! She had finally figured out how to "see". Her match was after Naruto's. She still didn't know who she was battling, she sighed.
"Whats wrong?" she heard Haruka ask.
"Oh! Haruka, thanks again for helping me! Your a great friend!" Hitomi hugged her.
"Your welcome." said Haruka smiling, though Hitomi couldn't see that.
"WINNER UZUMAKI NARUTO!"
"HECK YEAH NARUTO!" Hitomi screamed. Then she froze,"Wait...That means...I'm..."
"Your next." said Haruka.
Shooooooot, Hitomi thought as she appeared in the arena, a veil of darkness surrounding her. She heard the opponent appear and I sent out a wave of chakra mixed in with wind. The chakra I sent out were almost like transmitters, they sent signals to my brain. The chakra sensed what ever was around it, even color so when my brain recieved the information it formed a model of the arena. I could, in theory, "see". With this technique Its almost as if I had never lost my vision. Almost. But it had a weakness. The wind sending out the chakra can only go so far. So I couldn't see that far. Which is very unhelpful with long-ranged attackers. Also it takes a lot of chakra, and I can't keep it up for that long, so most of the time I would have to just rely on the sensitivity of my hearing, touch, and smell. This jutsu could probably last... 3 min? At most. I know, I know. It sucks. But I'm able to see so I'm happy. XP
I recieved the infromation, and saw my opponent. No way.
"Murasak Hitomi of Night-hime," a dramatic gasp was heard at the sound of my name. I rolled my eyes, which they probably couldn't see due to the blindfold,"Versus, Hoshi Haruka of Day-hime." Que second dramatic gasp.
