We also created a separate book for 2017 Resolutions and will be accepting submissions for at least the next few weeks. We already have several great entries and I would encourage all of you to head over and read them. We would love to hear what your resolutions are for the new year and help encourage you to achieve them!

As always please Private Message any entry you wish to share to @PoetsPub and be sure to include the name of the collection you want it added to, your screen name and the title of the poem. For a complete list of Pub rules and regulations see "Behind the Bar" which can be found here:

Finally remember to send us any personal announcements you would like me to include in the Chatter, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. Just message me here at the Pub and I will be sure to get it in the Chatter.

OLD BUSINESS:

We are still awaiting the results of the 2016 Pubber of the Year contest. I encourage you all to read the submissions, as well as inviting your Wattpad friends to drop by the Pub and have a gander a these exceptional poetic pieces. We should have a winner announced by the first part of January.

NEW BUSINESS:
As we finish out 2016 I would just like to encourage everyone to look back over the year and think about all of the blessings that have come your way in 2016. I realize that no one has a perfect year; hardships are a part of everyone's lives. What we do have is a choice. We can choose how we react to those hardships and choose not to dwell on them. Even more important we can choose to embrace our blessings and be grateful for them.

This week I would like to encourage you to leave messages of encouragement and gratitude, in the comments section of the Chatter, for your fellow Pubbers. Tag someone if you wish or just leave a general message for all of the members.

I would like to kick this off by saying, that I joined Wattpad at the end of July this year, and since then I have met the most amazingly talented authors. When I found the Pub, I knew I had found a home here on Wattpad. Everyone I have encountered has been kind and encouraging, helpful and sincere. I am grateful for each and everyone of you!! I want to encourage all of you to reach for the stars and to remember to choose; having a choice is one of the greatest gifts any of us can ever have, so choose wisely.

So now it is your turn. Who has been important to you? Who has inspired you? Who has taught you or helped you? Now is your chance to let them know. You may just make someone's day!

Well that is just about does it for this week.

I would encourage you to head over to our sister site the Storytellers_Saloon and check out what is going on. I have heard a rumor that Bessie the cow has returned to Busted Gulch and she bring with her some interesting news. There are also some whisperings that the Gulch will get it's first bakery. You can check it out here:

Busted Gulch can be found here:

The lovely and talented Ruechari who runs the Storytellers_Saloon, made the suggestion last week that I put all of the links to the various featured collections in the comments section, so it will be easier for you all to access them. So that is what I have done for this week, you can find all the links in the comments.

As always please stick around and enjoy yourself as long as you like. We have eggnog on tap for anyone who is interested. Introduce yourself to someone new and welcome to all of the new members who have recently started following us.

HAPPY HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!

Stay safe and we will meet back here next week for the final Chatter of the year!!

Cheers to all, from you Mystres of Chatter

This is a message from RanjuVel ...

Extremely sorry Sir. I am in Chennai and we are affected by cyclone. I'm very gloomy about having not participated in the contest. We don't have current yet. Couldn't use internet. Now I am making use of someone else's wifi connection which is allowed only for minutes. I take this chance to convey my apologies. Hope the contest went well. Convey my congratulations to the winners.
