It has been a terrific week here at the Pub; I hope your week has been the same!!

We only have about a week and a half left in our first competition of the year! The submissions to "Our Pub", so far, have been superb!

NEW BUSINESS:

This week we are rolling out a new collection:

Pub Chatter Poetry Prompts

This collection will be featuring your poems created from the poetry prompts given here in the Chatter. There will be a list of all the prompts given in this new collection and it will be updated weekly.

So if you choose to write a poem from of one of the prompts please feel free to submit it for inclusion in this collection. I am excited to see what you all can come up with!

NOTICE: when you submit a poem for this collection please include which prompt you used, so that I can mention that when I post the poem.

PROMPT:

Your mission for this week is to choose one of the previously published prompts, write a poem and submit it for our new collection.

Finally we are working on a new collection of Pubber Interviews. This will include interviews with our Founder Bill Temple, managers Sona and MystresMyna as well as our Pubbers of the Year for 2015 and 2016 as well as the runners up. I believe this collection will give us a unique look in to the lives of our Pubbers. I hope to include interviews with the winners of our monthly competitions as other illustrious Pubbers.
So be looking for it to be rolled out in the next few weeks.

STORYTELLERS-SALOON:

This week at the saloon they were hosting their second GOLD RUSH WEEK.

Okay , a few words from the old dude.

Hopefully, within the next week, we will be making an unbelievable announcement and we will be introducing a brand new direction for the Poets Pub.

Stay tuned.

I am offering a personal challenge to everyone out there.

We need roughly 400 new Pubbers to reach the 6,000 mark.

Can we do it by the end of February?

Let's give it a try. Let's have a membership drive unlike anything we have ever had before and let's get to 6K.
