The 200 Poem Challenge is still going strong. As you all know Bill finished his first 200 poems a few weeks ago and is less than 50 away from hitting the 400 poem mark!! This is an amazing accomplishment, three cheers for Bill!! Your's truly hit the 200 mark earlier this week! Woot Woot! We also have a new comer to the challenge @RIS1958. OLD BUSINESS:
As I said at the beginning of the meeting, "Can you feel the excitement!!" Well the Pub is just jumping with excitement as we come to the close of the 2016 Pubber of the Year competition. Today was the last day for the final two poems to be submitted; the judging will begin tomorrow Dec. 17. We should know who the winner is some time in January.
The final poems were posted anonymously, so head over and read them to see if you can guess who the author is. The number of votes each poem gets will count on the judging process. So please vote and comment for your favorite poems. Also invite your other Wattpad friends to do the same. You can find all the final poems here:

NEW BUSINESS:
We thought we would have one last challenge before the end of the year and as we await the results of the Pubber of the Year. We are going to add a special section to A Pub Christmas for 2017 New Year's Resolutions.
Many of us make New Year's resolutions, most of which fall by the way side before the end of January. However, if you share what your resolution is with others, many times we have a better chance of holding to them.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come up with some New Year's Resolutions, put them in the poetic form of your choosing and submit them to be added to the 2017 New Year's Resolutions section of A Pub Christmas. The fun of this will be watching them come full circle and see how we did at the end of next year.
We will be taking resolution submissions starting today through the end of the year.
PROMPT:
So Pubbers what will it be, will you resolve to write a new poem everyday? How about start a journal and write in it everyday. Maybe this will be the year that the novel floating around in your brain will come to life. I have a great one...you could resolve to submit one poem every week here at the Pub!! Let's take this opportunity to inspire one another and make 2017 the best year ever!!
2016 has been a great year for the Pub and we want 2017 to be even better. We have lots of new ideas, projects, contests, collections, and maybe even some collaborations with other groups on Wattpad, in the works for the coming year. In the next few weeks we will be filling you in on all the particulars of these exciting new projects.

Only a couple days until the final judging for the Pubber of the Year begins.
Who will it be?
Well after the first round of voting it is quite a race, as every single person in the competition got votes, from their Peers, so it is very close.
You can help your cause by making an announcement on your own site and inviting your followers to pop over and take a look. Remember, you cannot tell them the names of your Poems, but you can tell them that you are in the competition.
Votes from your peers will count in the final stage, for a portion of your final overall points.
2016 has been a great year for the Pub and 2017 is already shaping up to be an even greater year, with some new additions to the Pub and some other very exciting news that we hope to share in the beginning of the New Year.
And give three cheers to our own MystresMyna.
Because of her amazing support and help over the last few months, I have decided to promote her to Chief Cook & Bottle Washer.
Basically she is now my right hand or left hand.
Can't figure that one out. Sona is one of them ....
Anyway.
Myna and Sona both have the titles of Assistant, though I have a feeling that things will change in the New Year as we announce our exciting NEWS.
Anyways.
