paige's pov

It had been months since Ethan and I talked. Everything was changing. Andrew and I were getting a lot closer which surprised me.

It was Saturday morning, and this was the day that Ethan and I would usually go for pancakes together.

I decided to text Andrew and ask if he wanted to go for breakfast with me.

My family knew about how Ethan and were kinda a thing, but I never brought him home. I hadn't even told him that we weren't talking at the moment.

Paige: Hey, wanna go for pancakes with me?

Andrew: Yeah sure, what time?

Paige: Pick you up in 15?

Andrew: Sound good, see ya then :)

I ran into my room to get dressed. I put on a pair of black jeans, a navy blue crop top, and a green jacket. I also wore my white vans. (A/N - Outfit is above)

I went into the bathroom and curled my hair a bit, as well I did some light makeup. By the time I was finished it was time to go.

(A/N - I know I haven't really added in much about Paige's parents and family, so I'm gonna add in some of them in. It will be kinda awkward, but whatever).

I went into the kitchen and both of my brothers were sitting at the table.

"Where are you going?" Bellamy asked.

"Just for pancakes with a friend," I replied grabbing the keys from the jar.

"Oooooh, what friend?" Evan said jokingly.

I forgot to even tell them that it was my ex Andrew. My family definitely wouldn't be supportive because they knew what he did to me.

"Jenna," I reply lying.

I hated lying, but they would never allow me to hangout with Andrew.

"So how are things with Ethan?" Evan asks.

"Yeah Sweetie, how are things with your boy?" My mom asks butting in.

Now I was getting really embarrassed and honestly really sad. I missed E so much, but I couldn't act weak about it.

"Its fine," I say storming out. I didn't want to talk about it.

I get into my car and drive over to Andrew's.

Paige: Here :)

Andrew came out of his house and got in the car.

"Hey!" I say.

"Hey, thanks again for inviting me," Andrew replies.

We drive to the little breakfast place in town and wait in line for a table.

"Table for two." I say.

"You two are very cute together," the waitress exclaims.

I look over at Andrew and just laugh.

"Thank you," he replies.

"So what are you doing on Friday?" Andrew asks.
"Not much, why? Are you planning on kidnapping me again like at school that one time." I reply laughing a bit.
"No, I wouldn't do that, I don't think. I was just wondering if you wanted to come over for dinner. My parents would love to see you again," Andrew exclaims.
"I really want too, but my parents would never allow me too. They think i'm out with Jenna right now, if they find out I'm hanging out with you, I'll be done for."
"Just tell them your going to Jenna's for dinner," he replies. "Have you told them about Ethan?"
"No, i'm too scared. My parents really liked him too." I reply. "They know about our past though, I would get grounded forever."
"Just tell them there's something at school," Andrew says.
"I don't know, I hate lying to them." I reply.

"here we have the chicken burger and the pasta," the woman says placing the food on the table.

"Thank you," both Andrew and I reply.

We began eating and I kept catching Andrew staring at me. I don't know if there was something on my face, or he was just being really weird, but I decided to call him out on it.

"Having fun there?" I say joking.
"What?" Andrew getting caught off guard.
"You keep staring at me," I reply.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to. I-I um, just-"
"Andrew, It's okay," I laugh.

He seemed nervous for some odd reason. We have hung out before, but he never acted this way.

"Excuse me for a minute. I gotta pee," I exclaim.

Andrew just laughs and nods his head.

I walk into the bathroom and check my phone.

1 text message from ethan dolan

I had to take a double take just to make sure it was actually him. He sent it about 30 seconds ago and I swiped and opened it so quickly. Was I that desperate?

Ethan Dolan: Hey Paige

What was he doing. We haven't talked forever, why is he texting me.

Paige: Hey

Is it bad that it felt good talking to him again?

Ethan Dolan: So, umm, I've been thinking about what happened between us and I'm not down. I miss you like crazy. I need you back Paige.

Oh no. I stood in the bathroom for like three minutes thinking of what to reply.

Paige: Ethan. C'mon now. We haven't talked for such a long time. I don't know.

Ethan Dolan: Please Paige. Give me one more chance. I'll make it up to you. I promise.

Paige: Ugh, why do you have to make things so difficult. There are so many girls that are dying to get in your pants, go have fun. It sucks being stuck to someone and you know that.

Ethan Dolan: But, its not the same without you. I miss our pancake breakfasts, and our late night phone calls. I need you back in my life.

Paige: Its just

Ethan Dolan: Just what? Don't you miss me?

Honestly, I missed him so much it hurt.

Paige: Yeah. I do.

Ethan Dolan: Here, how about you make a list of tasks, after I complete all the tasks on the list, were back together?

Paige: Fine, but you have to wait until tomorrow for me to give you the list at school.

Ethan Dolan: Okay :)

I could tell that Ethan was really excited, and I was too. I was happy that he was willing to fight for me.

I totally forgot that Andrew was still waiting for me. It had been like twelve minutes. Fuck.

I walked back to the table and Andrew was sitting there on his phone.

"Sorry, my mom called." I lied.

I really need to get things sorted out.
