"Thanks for inviting me Paige, I'll see you at school tomorrow," Andrew says waving as he gets out of my car and walks inside.

I'm getting stressed out about Ethan and Andrew. I miss Ethan like crazy, but Andrew really seems to like me.

I can't handle this.

I drove back to the house and walked inside.

"Hey Paige," Evan says ask I walk inside.
"Hey," I say.
"Why do you look anxious?" He asks.
"I-I'm not," I stuttered.
"Yes you are," he replies.
"It's just, ugh. You promise you can't tell anybody."
"Yes just tell me."
"Okay, well I've been hanging out with Andrew." I say.
"What? Like your ex? How did he get here?" Evan asks.
"His parents got transferred. Also Ethan and I got in a huge fight, but end of story. Ethan wants me back and I don't know what to do because I think Andrew wants me back too." I explain.
"Damn Paige. Your screwed."
"Thanks Evan." I say shoving him. "Ethan came up with this idea that I write him a list of tasks, and if he completes all of them, we are back together."
"Well thing is, do you even want Ethan back? There's no point in making the list if you don't want to be with him." Evan exclaims.
"I don't know. I just. I miss him, but I don't know if I can trust him." I reply.
"Well everyone gets a second chance. Plus it really looks like he likes you at school."
"Umhm. Well do you want to help make the list?" I ask.
"Yeah, sure!" Evan replies.

We go upstairs and into my room. I was excited to be hanging out with my brother again.

After hours we had finally complied a list of 10 tasks;

(A/N Some of the tasks are kinda boring, but I had to make sure that there would be enough time before some other events that will be happening 😉)

I woke up to the lovely sounds of the coffee maker.

"Hey," I say as I walk downstairs.
"Hi Honey," my mom says as she sits down at the table and starts reading something on her phone.
"Can you drive me to school?" I ask her.
"Of course," she replies. "Haven't you been getting a ride with Ethan though?"

In reality I was getting a ride with Andrew, but I had lied.

"Yeah, but he has football practice," I make up.

It's fuckin winter what am I thinking?

"Oh okay. Well i'm leaving early, so you should hurry." She exclaims.

I run upstairs and get dressed. I wear black leggings with an oversized flannel as well as a shoulder bag.

I unplug my phone from the charger and realize I got some text messages.

3 Texts from Andrew
1 Text from Ethan

I swipe and unlock my phone.

Ethan: Hey, did you finish the list 🙂
Paige: Yup! :)

Andrew: Hey do you need a ride?
Andrew: Paige?
Andrew: Hello??
Paige: Nah, I'm okay. My moms gonna drive me, thanks though.

I was feeling kinda bad, but it seemed as if he was trying to get me back. I would never go back to him in that way, but I do like him as a friend. Maybe even a best friend.

I threw my hair up into a messy bun and applied my usual makeup; mascara, concealer, filled in my eyebrows, eyeliner.

I ran downstairs grabbed some money and headed out to the car.

My mom was already there with my brothers too.

"Took you long enough," Bellamy said.
"Shut up," I exclaim.
"You two two red to stop arguing." Mom shouted.
"Yeah Bell. Geez." I say laughing.

I seen him roll his eyes in the mirror.

Once we get to school I run inside and walk over to my friend Jenna.

"Hey girly!" She says. "Cute outfit."
"Thanks, I was rushing so much. I have news."
"Oh god what."
"Well I hung out with Andrew and I'm pretty sure he's trying to get back with me." I explain. "Also Ethan told me to make a list of tasks, and if I complete them then we're back together."
"What? You give in too easily." She says. "He legit was kissing Elise right in front of you."
"I know, but I miss him so much." I reply.
"Your crazy."

"Paige!" Ethan says running up to me.
"Oh hey Ethan." I say.
"So, do you have the list?" He says anxiously.

I pull out the folded piece of paper and hand it to him.

"Wow," he says.

I just laugh.

"Well good luck," I exclaim.
