Chapter 3

Jason's pov

I somehow managed to lift and carry Ty to the bed and set him down. I stared at him in shock. How he managed to survive, I don't know. But I'm guessing the scientists started to get smarter with their pickings.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Ty groan. He sat up and looked at me.

"What was that?!" He asked.

I had to think for a minute about what he was talking about. "The lab. They use people as test subjects." He just stared at me like I was crazy.

Well, maybe only a little.

That night when Ty was sleeping I decided to see what special abilities I got. I didn't try them for five years, so I was a little excited to see the outcome.

Knowing I have Wither in me, I tried to figure out what the Wither could do.

He can float.

I decided to get the hardest one out of the way first. I climbed up the wall of cell all the way to the roof. I managed to grab a vine and pull myself to the top. I turned so I was facing the center of the cell. I looked down and estimated it being about thirty blocks down from where I was. I slowly started to let go of the vines.

I jumped.

I could feel myself falling towards the ground. I closed my eyes before I hit the ground, but when I opened them, I was a block off the ground. I smiled. I got one ability down.

"Jason?" I turned to see Ty staring at me with his purple eyes.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" I let myself down gently and walked over to Ty.

"No I was just wondering how were you floating?!" He asked.

I sighed. "I didn't want to tell you yet but you know how you have enderdragon Dna?" He nods. "I have Wither Dna." His face looked surprised.

"They did experiments on you?!" I nod. We sit next to each other for a while until I hear Ty mumble something.

"What?" I ask. He just smiles at me.

"In my village I heard stories about the Wither and how he would fight. He can shoot exploding Wither Skulls!" He was smiling like an idiot while I was confused.

I sat back down. "Even if I could shoot Wither Skulls, how would I do it?" I asked in frustration. Ty soon sat down next to me.

"I'm sorry, I thought I was onto something." He said in disappointment.

"I was excited too. I thought I could finally get out of here." I pick up a rock and throw it at the cell floor. But I saw two things flying. When the rock hit the ground, there was a snall explosion, but still big enough to make a small hole in the floor. Ty and I looked at each other and I could tell we were thinking the same thing.

I aimed my hand at the back wall and I saw a small Wither Skull fly towards the wall and exploded on impact. When the dust cleared, we could just see the wall surrounding the building. We both ran for the wall and I exploded a small hole in the wall.

Free. I was finally away from that place. But what we didn't notice till now is that it was getting dark.

And we have no supplies.
