Chapter 10

Sky's pov

After we wake up, we take down our filler house and they take us to their tree house. Which took us the whole day, considering it was far and we did an hour on/an hour off schedule so Juni could take a look at Jason's wounds

We finally get to their tree house after a long day of walking through dense forests and jungle.

"He needs a potion of healing. And someone who is actually good with doctory-type stuff.'' Jerome said. "But until then, guest room is down that hallway to the left." I just then noticed how tired I was. Their tree house was a long distance from our makeshift house and I was the one who carried Jason.

We walked to the room and I fell asleep when my head hit the pillow. I had a terrible nightmare.

--DREAM TIME!!!--

I was running through a forest. I could hear someone following me and I knew if he caught me I would be dead. I stopped to catch my breath in an opening. I looked around and caught sight of something dark blue running through the trees. I hear a maniacal laugh from behind but when I turn around, nothing. I was breathing heavily in the moonlight.

I checked but I have no sword. I hear leaves crunch behind me and when I turn around I can see the faint shape of a person with a sword running at me...

--END TIME!!--

I woke up gasping for air. I got out of bed to go to the kitchen for water but when I got there I saw Mitch sitting at the table.

"Mitch?" The sound of my voice makes him jump.

"Sky! You scared me!" He says.

"I see that. Why are you awake?" I walk over and sit across from him.

"Nightmares. About my village getting attacked..." It looked like he was about to cry, so I didn't pressure him any further.

"I had a nightmare too. I'm not sure what about though." I explain to him my dream, which is still perfectly etched into my brain, unlike normal dreams.

"Hm. Weird. Why would someone be after you?" I just shrug. We sit in perfect silence fir a few hours until the others woke up.

"Okay so we kinda need to go hunting so we'll split up into groups of two. Sky and Juni and Jerome and I. Ty, you'll stay here to watch Jason. Okay?"

Ty was about to object but I gave him the shut-up-he's-your-best-friend look, so he just shut his trap. The four of us walk into the forest to go hunting, but only to come back with some other...stuff...
