Chapter 12

Ian's pov

I walked in the back, with my head down. I stayed far from Sky or his safety. The last thing I need is for another group of people to think I'm insane. I just ca-

"Hey Ian, you ok?" I jump when I hear Sam's voice.

"Ya. Why?" I ask.

"You havn't said anything since we decided to join the group." She said, also looking down as we walked.

"Oh, I've just been...thinking..." I say.

"You sure?" She said, smiling and elbowing me. I fake smiled an elbowed her back. "I'll take that as a y-is that the tree house?" She cut herself off and yelled the last part at Sky and them. I looked up to see the biggest tree house I've ever seen. 

"Guests!" We look up and see a boy looking down at us. "JEROME WE HAVE GUESTS!!" He yelled back into the house and then slid down a rope to meet us. "Hi. I'm Mitch and this-" An animal lands next to him. ''-is my bacca friend, Jerome." 

"Yay! Friendship!" Sky yells as he runs to a ladder leading up to the huge tree house. I look up again from where I stand, now closer to the tree, I notice that i can barely see half the house because of how high it is. 

"Um...We're supposed to climb all the way up there!" Sam must have noticed the same thing.

"Pretty much." Mitch says, and starts after Sky. 

Jerome follows, then Rina and Juni. Sam came up to me. "See you at the top!" She runs and climbs after Jason. I laugh and follow. When I get to the top, I walk into the huge house and sit next to Sam in the couch. 

"Ok, I need names from you three." Jerome says to Rina, Sam and I.

"I'm Sam and that's Ian and Rina." Sam points at us when she introduces us. 

"It's getting dark, we should be heading to bed." Juni said as she looked out the window and at the sunset. 

There was a symphony of "Awe"s and "I'm not tired"s, but she managed to convince us to go to bed.  I walked into my room and hesitated going to sleep, because of my nightmares. But my tiredness won and I was soon drifting off to sleep.

~~Dream~~

Against my will, I follow the running boy. I stop when he enters an opening. He checks to see if he has a sword and to find out he's weaponless. I creep around the edge of the opening and step on a leaf. He looks in my direction but by then I'm already behind him. I run out of the treeline with my sword in hand. He turns around and I have just enough time to recognize him before I stab him.

Sky!

~~Nightmare over!~~

I wake up gasping and sweaty. I jump out of bed and head to the kitchen. Walking out to the balcony, I guess that it's about midnight. 

"Ian?" I turn around and see Sky standing there. My palms start to get sweaty. "Why are you up?"

Trying not to have a shaky voice I ask "I could ask the same for you." 

He sits down on the couch and I sit next to him. "Nightmares. You?"

"Me too." I say. "What about?" I ask, dreading the answer. He shrugs.

"Hey guys!" I hear Mitch walk into the kitchen. He looks tired, like he hasn't slept good for nights. "I see you've joined the Midnight Club." He grabs a peace of bread from the kitchen and sits next to me.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

"I have nightmares a lot so I usually wake up at this time. Now I got company!" He says. I was going to ask what his nightmares are about but Sky just shook his head. 

"Don't." He whispers to me, like he was reading my mind. I nod and get food too.

I walk onto the balcony to see the clouds spazzing out. They were circling a figure on the ground and I gasped when I saw who it was.

Herobrine.

WOO SUSPICION!!!!! (i don't think i spelled it right...)

Halfway through I figured out that I had no way to end it! 

I was gonna leave it at where Mitch comes in, but I thought it wouldn't be that good of an ending...

Yay for decision-making.
