The Weasleys had gone home for Christmas and Hermione with them. The rest of Gryffindor was gone too. The only students remaining were Harry, Draco Malfoy, and a Ravenclaw named Jack.Harry had to admit that he was lonely, and it always sucks to be lonely during the holidays. Although, going to the Dursley's wouldn't have been much better. He lied to himself and said that he was content sitting in the Gryffindor common room on his own. He wasn't.
Harry had only spoken to Jack a handful of times. Jack was a close friend of Luna Lovegood's. According to Luna, Jack was from Germany, originally. His mother was German and his father was British, but after his mother died, they came back to Britain to be with his father's family. Harry could admit that he found the boy attractive. He had long, dark, curly hair that constantly fell in his blue-green eyes. He was fair skinned and had plump, pink lips. He wasn't too bad to talk to either.
As Harry thought more about the Ravenclaw boy, a plan formulated in his head. His crush on Draco Malfoy was hopeless and he didn't want to be alone for the entire break. Perhaps, Jack would be interested in spending the holidays together.
His mind was made up. Harry had to go and find Jack. The only two places he could be were the library and Ravenclaw tower. He settled on checking the former first.
Harry entered the library and, sure enough, there sat Jack with his nose stuck in Quidditch Through The Ages. A smirk found it's way onto his face.
Harry approached Jack, but the boy was too invested in his book. Harry cleared his throat, and got Jack's attention.
"Harry? To what do I owe this pleasure?" Jack greeted coolly in his thick German accent.
"I was wondering if you were interested in spending Christmas with me. It's a bit lonely this year, for me at least."
"I'd love to!" Jack responded as he stood up from his seat and collected his things, "It's getting rather late, Harry, I'm going to go on to bed. Can we agree to meet here, in the library, Christmas morning?"
"Yes, of course."
Jack smiled at Harry over his shoulder as he left the room. Harry grinned back.
Little did either of them know, a certain fair haired Slytherin watched them from the shadows of the library. His stomach lurched and he felt lightheaded. Draco knew Potter could never like him, but Jack Folsom? Jack is as strange as they come. That's why he runs around with Luna Lovegood. Draco could not stand for this.
He watched as Harry exited the room, and Draco followed shortly after, trying to make as little sound as possible. He followed Harry through the corridors and out into the freezing cold night. Draco cursed himself for not wearing something warmer. Snow crunched under his feet.
Harry, hearing Draco's footsteps, stopped in his tracks and turned. Out in the open, Draco had nowhere to hide. Draco couldn't read Potter's facial expression. It was strange.
"Malfoy? What on earth are you doing?" Draco didn't answer. He just kept walking. Harry's breath hitched on his throat as Draco got closer and closer. Eventually, the cold seeped out of Draco's bones, until he was mere inches away from Harry.
Harry could feel Draco's warm breath on his cheek, and something inside him snapped. He tackled Draco and kissed him. The snow made Draco's clothes damp, but Harry's body kept him warm.
"Malfoy!" Harry exclaimed as he sat up. A look of hurt crossed Draco's face as he thought that Harry might regret kissing him.
"You might get sick. Let's get you inside, so you can get some dry clothes." Harry held out his hand for Draco to take and they started back towards the castle together.
A/N okay so I wrote this one, not realizing that drarry wasn't on the list, so here's a bonus. Merry Christmas! 🎄
