Painted Lady
-(n.): a migratory butterfly with wings mottled with brown, orange, black, and white.
//
The sky is cast full of mottled
wings, sending hues of vibrantly
dark colours throughout the delicately
blue horizon.
The immense beauty cast vigorous
shivers down upon my spine. When
the winters send blue to grey, your
colours will still shine through. When
there's nothing left but ash and dust in
this gentle world, your rainbow will
still shine throughout the cracked
sky. Never stop shining, my
beauty, for you keep this world
as one magnificent piece.

PoetryWhen I was going through insane writer's block, I went to a dictionary. I picked random words, and wrote a poem that represented what that word meant to me. I have kept this technique since. This is a book of my definition based poetry.
