-(n.) when you can't think of a word for something.
//
When I think of what you did,
of how you left us, I can't help
but to want to scream into the cosmos.
I am at a lack of words, though it has been
a full year today, one year since
you off and left, since you decided that
life wasn't worth living anymore.
When I think of your name, I try to
speak, but it is forbidden. It feels as if
there are thousands of pounds of brick
weighing my vocal chords down so far that
they hit the very bottom of my bowels. Your
death forever curved my destiny, forever changed
who I am. Your death has carved a crater into all that
I am, and I am speechless.

PoesiaWhen I was going through insane writer's block, I went to a dictionary. I picked random words, and wrote a poem that represented what that word meant to me. I have kept this technique since. This is a book of my definition based poetry.
