We got through everyone except Zane, and Fallen just sent him in. I leaned across the table, trying to look intimidating. "Zane Ro'Meave... from what I have been told you were Aphmau's friend?"

"Best friend," he grumbled.

"Sorry. Best friend. Just a question were you on the road trip?"

"No. I don't exactly... like any of those guys," he grumbled.

"Not even your brother?" I tilted my head.

"No."

"So you were with Aphmau while they were gone?"

"Yes."

"Were perhaps jealous of, Aaron and Aphmau's relationship?"

"N-No."

"Okay." I could hear his voice falter... that means... he's lying. I nodded, pretending to understand. I signaled Lydia in the booth of the lie.

"Is that all you have to ask?" He mumbled, trying to stand up, I pushed him back down into his chair.

"You're not going anywhere, you hear?"

"Loud and clear," he grumbled.

"Do you mind if I see your phone?" I asked, holding out my hand.

"Why?" He snarled.

"Well... it's a... security measure you see?"

"No it's not," he growled.

"How would you know?" I smiled.

"..."

"That's right. You don't know. So give me your phone." I growled. He bit his lip, and handed it to me. I smiled. There was two knocks on the window. Two is go time. I slipped his phone in my back pocket. Then I walked around the table.

"Can I go know?"

"See here's the thing... my boss has given me the information I need to say you can't leave."

"What!?" He snapped. I grabbed him by the hair, and slammed his head into the table, knocking him out. I pulled him out of the chair, and threw him over my shoulder. He was surprisingly light.

I walked out of the interrogation room with Zane over my shoulder. Everyone was still there and they started at me with wide eyes. I stopped and glared at them all. "Go home right now. All of you." I shouted.

They all stood up and scurried off. I spat on the floor and brought Zane to a holding cell, tossing him on the floor, and locking him up.

I walked over to my station, tossing myself into my chair and plugging Zane's phone into my computer. I broke the lock and unplugged his phone. I checked all his context, text messages and then browser history... I... I just can't... ew.

My thumb hovered over the phone icon.

There was a loud blaring going off... fire alarm. I stood up quick, and Fallen ran over to me. "(Y/N)! We need to get out of here now!" She coughed. That's right... she can't breath that stuff in. I ran her over to the window, yanking it open. Third story.

"Jump!" I yelled.

"Are you crazy!?" She snapped. I pushed her put the window, and was about to follow her when I remembered I dropped Zane's phone... and Zane. I groaned and ran back to my desk, grabbing his phone and slipping it into my pocket then ran to the stairs, and saw the flames licking their way up. I ran down the hall to the holding room, and saw Zane pressed against the bars.

"I can't believe you came to get me? He snarled. I rolled my eyes, and unlocked the cell. He immediately kicked me in the stomach, and I flew into the wall. My head was pounding with adrenaline. I slumped down, my mind was swimming.

I felt hands stick into my pocket. I grabbed their wrist, but they shook me off and I opened my eyes lazily, and saw Zane running out the room. I slowly tried to pull myself up, but fell back down. I grabbed the window ledge and pulled myself up. I felt heat flood the room. I pulled myself onto the ledge and tried to open the window.

Then I remembered we had them sealed due to the many break outs. I started to slam myself into the window, and I fell out the window as it broke. The ground came soaring toward my face. I covered my head and I heard a crack in my right arm.

I grunted and laid in the grass. The pain in my arm was flairing. I felt an arm wrap around me, pulling me to my feet. "What the heck happened to you?"

"Hey, Fallen," I grunted, smiling weakly. "I broke the window."

"Where's, Zane?"

"Zane? Zane? Zane? Zane!" I tried to pull away, my arm searing in pain. "Ah!"

"Let's get you to the hospital." She sighed. I nodded before blacking out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. I sat up and grabbed my arm. "Oh, great you're awake!" A nurse smiled. I shook the business from my eyes.

"Uh... yeah, what... uh, what happened?"

"Well, you have a minor concussion, and a broken arm, and your shoulder was popped out of its socket." She nodded. She sat on the edge of the bed, and gently grabbed my elbow. "Now I just want to take a few notes." She moved my arm right, and I grunted.

"That hurts."

"Okay, thank you," she scribbled a note down on a piece of paper, and checked my arm a little more. It pretty much hurt everywhere. I breathed as she set her paper aside. "Can you tell me what you remember? Possibly about the last thing you were doing before blacking out?"

"Well the police station was on fire, and I was trying to help a suspect from my most recent case out, when he knocked me into the wall, so I jumped out the window... and... SHOOT!!!" I jumped up from the bed, ignoring my pounding head, then ran out of the room. I saw, Fallen, sitting in the lobby. I ran over to her, and knelt down. "Where's Zane!?" I yelled.

"He got away!"

"We need to get to, Lover's Lane, now! I think he's trying to do something!"

"But you're hurt!"

"One small injury isn't going to stop me from saving my high school friends!" I yelled, running out of the hospital.
