*If you read this and you're from Australia, and I get something wrong don't judge, I don't know how things work for you guys!*
When I got off the plane I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket. I pulled it out and answered. "Hey, (Y/N)!"
"Aaron? ...How'd you get my phone number?"
"I got it from, Fallen."
"Oh course you did."
"Yeah, anyways I just wanted to see how you were doing."
"I'm fine. I'm out of the hospital for now so that's always good." I continued to look around to see if Zane was anywhere near.
"Well, since you're out I was wondering... if you maybe wanted to go out tonight?"
"Uh... that doesn't work with my schedule." I gritted my teeth as I walked out of the airport.
"Okay anytime soon do you think?"
"...Um... maybe? I'm on a business trip."
"You're a cop. You don't take business trips as far as I know."
"I'm out of the country right now looking for a possible suspect-"
"You mean, Zane?"
"No!" I whisper yelled.
"Rightttttt. So, when you get back?"
"Sure, I just don't know how long this is going to take. Hold on, I got to go I'll call you later?"
"Okay, bye."
"Bye, love you." I hung up, then realized what I had said. I groaned, and shook my head, and dialed the captain's number. "Hey?"
"We have a location on the suspect."
"Okay?"
"He's hidden in a house on... Wayland Avenue. House number 1673."
"Okay. He'll be back in the U.S. in no time."
"Not quite. I need the job to be done in, Australia."
"Why?"
"Because then it can't be put on your permanent record, and I can't lose my best Detective."
"Okay." I sighed, and hung up. Okay, his best Detective!? Nice!
I caught someone to drive me, and about an hour later I was standing in front of the house, paying the man for giving me a ride way off his own route. I went up, and knocked on the door. I heard a bolt unlock, and a young lady open the door.
"C-Can I help y-you?" She stuttered.
"I'm Detective Lenea Stevens. I'm from the U.S. I'm looking for a tall American, pale always has his face covered by a mask, black hair blue eyes."
"I-I'm sorry. I haven't s-seen anyone like that."
"Are you sure, he's kind of a fat nugget-"
"N-No. I haven't s-seen h-him." She said, and tried to close the door, but I stopped her.
"Now hold on a second-"
"I haven't seen, Zane anywhere." She snapped. I grinned as she huffed, and puffed angrily.
"Who's, Zane?"
"N-No one!" She said, realizing she gave herself away. I pushed the door open, and pointed my gun at her.
"Where is he?" I asked. She gulped, and shook her head. "If you don't tell me, I'll have to shoot you!" I snapped.
"He's in the basement!" She cried.
"Show me!" She lead me to a door, and opened it.
"He's down there." She turned to push me in, but I stopped her.
"I'm not that dumb. You can go first." I said lettering her in front of me. She nodded angrily and started to walk down the stairs, and I stayed at the top.
She disappeared from my view and I heard muffled talking, and then a crash. I ran out to the back and saw a blur of black running away from the house, toward the airport. I aimed my gun, and shot.
He tripped, and fell on his face, and I could hear his scream of pain. I ran toward him, and pinned him down, and smacked him across the face with the gun. He grunted in pain as I placed my knee on his chest. "I have orders to kill you here."
"Then do it already!" He snapped.
"Not until you tell me the real reason why you killed, Aphmau!"
"I don't know why I did it!"
"Yes you do!"
"I have to kill!" His eyes looked blood thirsty. I backhand slapped him, and his eyes were then filled with hatred.
"By the order of the law, you are here by charged to death for the murder of Aphmau Phoenix." I growled, and shot him square in the forehead. I got off him, and sat on my butt, before getting up, and running to hide behind a house.
I called the captain. "It's done."
"Good. Now come back."
"I can't."
"Why?"
"I am covered in blood and-"
"You should be covered, in the house next door it a friend of mine. Tell him David sent you, and he'll let you in."
"You know too many people."
"And you don't know enough." I rolled my eyes, and hung up. I saw the house, and quickly ran over, and knocked on the door. It swung open to reveal a man with black hair, cover one of his eyes.
"Who are you?"
"David, sent me!" I replied quickly. He ushered me in, and shut the door.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"(Y/N). One of David's Detectives. I am here on a case, and he said that you'd be willing to let me stay.
"Yes, I'm Jin, and any friend of David is a friend of mine... did you want me to wash those for you?" He asked staring at my blood stained clothes.
"Oh... would you?"
"Sure, you can borrow some of my sister's clothes, and take a shower upstairs if you'd like."
"Thank you, so much!" I smiled and ran upstairs he showed me her room where I snatched some sweatpants and a sweatshirt.
I then took a nice, long warm shower. When I got out it was almost dark. I walked back downstairs, drying my hair in a towel and saw Jin, setting out blankets on the couch. "Thank you, so much," I smiled.
"Well I'm just trying to repay a debt almost unrepayable." He shrugged. "I'll leave you to sleep then.
