"Yes. I really kissed Aaron... three times actually." I mumbled the last part.

"So in a way you really are replacing, Aphmau?" She looked upset.

"I would never try to do that, I swear to Irene!"

"Okay... then why we're you and Aaron kissing."

"I'm not sure to be honest. Last time we saw each other was the year I left, and I honestly never stopped thinking about him, and seeing him again. I just... I hoped to see everyone again... not like things though. Never like this."

"You just seemed so... calm earlier, like you weren't upset about you old friends death." She looked hurt.

"Believe me I was surprised as ever when I saw Aphmau dangling from that rope, just as surprised as everyone, but it's what I'm trained for. I handle these situations on almost a daily basis. So it didn't bother me as much as it should have." I looked down. The ambulance stopped, and the paramedics helped us out. I felt like my arms was being ripped off.

The nurse from earlier ran up to me with a scolding look. "I wasn't done examining you!"

"I caught the culprit, now you can finished," I graced her. I heard a small snicker from Katelyn as the nurse lead me inside.

She checked my pupils, and gave me a strange look. "Is something wrong?" I asked.

"They didn't dilate..." she trailed off.

"Is that bad?" I asked. She stood up, scribbling notes furiously. Then she ran out of the room leaving me to the quiet, but pounding silence in the small room. I looked out the window and saw a car pull up and my eyes trailed to the door where a doctor came in along with the nurse.

He checked my eyes too. He frowned. "Give her an MRI now."

"Wait! I need to know what's wrong!" I yelled. Aaron ran into the room.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"Bringing her to get a MRI!" The doctor snapped at the nurse she pulled me to my feet, and dragged me out of the room I kept my head turned back as I tried to look at Aaron, but he had disappeared from my vision.

The nurse set me down on the edge of the bed. "Would you like ear buds or something?" She asked.

"No..." I mumbled she nodded and walked off. I laid down on the bed, and closed my eyes as I was moved into the tube. I heard a clanking noise that made me jump.

"(Y/N), try not to move." I let out a unsteady breath, and laid still. The clanking noise continued, every time I heard it I got lost and it made it hard to breath.

I think I was having a panic attack. I let out a small cry, I felt like the tube was getting smaller and I pressed my hands against the side, feeling sweat appear on my skin as I struggled to breath.

I haven't had a panic attack since high school, and now I burned my lungs like hell. I leaned my forehead against the top of the tube.

"(Y/N), breath." The voice seemed to be ringing in my ears.

"I-I can't." I managed to mutter out. I felt so weak and vulnerable. I pressed my hand against the tube harder. "I can't."

I felt like I was dying. I needed to get out. I felt the bed moving out of the tube. I soon found myself staring at the white ceiling. I let out a sigh of relief and sat up.

I looked at my shaky hands. I felt hands on my shoulders and I looked up to face, Aaron. "Are you alright!?" He asked.

"I thought I was dying," I mumbled.

"You're fine... don't worry." He smiled. I nodded, and he pulled me against him, into a hug. Why has he been acting so nice to me!?

I pulled away, and walked out of the room to the doctors. "Did you find anything?" I asked.

"No."

"Then what the hell was that for!?" I snapped.

"We were making sure you didn't have a tumor, MS, or aneurysm."

"I don't understand what any of those are, but I'm assuming that one I don't have anything."

"Not anything we were looking for."

"What does that mean?" I asked walking forward to see the brain scan.

"Well you have something I've never seen before." He mumbled. He showed me the brain scan. "You see how this side of your brain is slightly smaller?"

"Yeah so?"

"Did you have any childhood issues?"

"Well for the first fourteen years of my life I had panic attacks every time I felt emotion, and sometimes I would pass out."

"And how did this stop?"

"I'm not sure. I just started hanging out with him," I pointed at Aaron who was still standing in the room. The doctor nodded slowly.

"Are you sure you don't know?"

"Well I knew at one point, but when my mom,and I moved I tried to forget because I lost a lot of friends that day and it really hurts." I explained. He nodded.

"Okay," he nodded. "Was there any significance about that boy?"

"He was my best friend... at least for the majority of that school year. We had our arguments and then for the last month or so of school we were dating." I mumbled. He nodded.

"Well there's some sort of issue with your brain."

"Tell me something I don't know."

"Gladly. Based on the way your brain looks you should be dead." My breathing hitched.

"What are you saying?" I asked.

"You should be dead... yet you're here right in front of me. Have you possibly been having panic attacks recently?"

"Not until just a few minutes ago. Why?"

"Then you're going to have to stay in the hospital."

"Why!? I have a job you know!?"

"We just need to run a few tests."

"I don't have the money for that!" I yelled. The nurse came in holding a needle. She walked over to me seemingly in slow motion, and she quickly inserted the needle into my neck.

I immediately felt dizzy and sick. My knees buckled under my weight and I collapsed, my face hitting against the cold floor. I felt two arms pick me up, and then everything blurred out, and the cold endless dark pulled me over.
