I laughed as Aphmau hobbled around the house with Joah. I laughed as Aaron walked into the living room with his cup of coffee, and mine. I took mine, and gently held it in my hands. He sat next to me, and kissed the side of my head.

I had eventually made friends with everyone on Lovers Lane, especially Aphmau's parents, who were grateful for my actions towards Zane. While Mrs. Ro'Meave wasn't as happy. She has been in counseling for a few days a month since she found out her son had been killed.

Within the last five years, Aaron and I had dated for about two years, and then had gotten married, and I gave birth to our first child a few months later, a boy. We had named him, Joah, after Aaron's favorite grandfather.

Joah, was a very energetic two year old, he smiled just like his father, and had Aaron's hair, but my eyes and skin tone. He was the cutest little boy ever.

About a year later I gave birth to our second child, a little girl. We named her, Aphmau after our best friend from high school, the one who I had to unfortunately investigate on homicide.

She was a splitting image of her father, and she had just learned to walk about a month ago. In a few days she would turn one. She was growing like a weed, and was only a few inches shorter than Joah.

Aphmau walked up to me, and I picked her up, and set her on my lap, and smiled at Aaron. He grabbed my hand.

"I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled. Aaron rubbed my stomach lightly, and I smiled. Our third was on her way, another girl. We had already decided to name her after my mother, Lecia. Once Lecia had made her way here we vowed to not have anymore kids, mostly because we had both wanted three.

I'm just glad I got to see him again that day, even if it wasn't the best of circumstances.
