"Omg! What happened!?"

"Uh... we kinda... made out, I think."

"So, you guys are dating?"

"Uh... I guess."

"Nice!" She punched me playfully, as my face turned red.

"Just... don't tell anyone... wait, how's the building anyway?"

"It's fine. There was just some minor damages."

"Do you know how the fire started?"

"No, not really. I mean there's been rumors that someone at work is working with Zane... but I seriously doubt it."

"Hmmm... yeah well if anyone gets liberty of hurting him it's gonna be me." I moved some hair from my face.

"And why should you get to do so?" She glanced over at me.

"He put me in the hospital for like a week, and he assaulted a officer, me, and he killed my best friend from high school. I feel like any other odds can't beat mine."

"Didn't you know Zane during high school?"

"I mean yes... we were... sorta friends, but... I dunno. It was like a one week friendship."

"I see. So anyways you and Aaron?"

"Stop. I'm sure nothing's going to become of it." I replied.

"Really? Did anyone else visit you in the hospital aside from me?"

"...Yes." I looked out the window.

"Oh, oh, oh, let me guess. It was Aaron."

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" I snapped my face turning red, and I slammed my palm against the dash. She giggled, and I stared at her. "Wait did you just giggle?"

"No!"

"Ahahahahahahah!!!" I laughed as her face suddenly turned red.

"I don't giggle, I laugh!" She snapped as we pulled into work. I locked the doors so she couldn't get out.

"You giggled."

"Shut up!"

"Admit it."

"No!"

"C'mon..."

"I giggled now let me out!" I unlocked the door, and she jumped out. Then ran away screaming, '(Y/N) and Aaron!!!!'. I rolled my eyes and walked straight to the captain's office where he was facing the window.

"Captain." I said to get his attention. He turned around and I saw the same man who was in my head. I stepped back.

"Detective (L/N). Good to see you again." I stood tall.

"What the hell were you doing messing with my-"

"Shhh! Don't say anything about the dreams."

"So it's true?"

"Yes. I'm trying to help you though. Zane's a lot more dangerous than you'd think."

"Zane, is a whimp, I've known him since high school-"

"Exactly, and don't let his past self fool you now."

"He's changed I know that much..." I sighed. "So just a really important question, why we're you invading my dreams and personal memories?"

"To protect-"

"Stop don't you dare tell me it was to protect me. I can protect myself, I am a full grown woman who is completely capable of shooting down a few men."

"...okay? ...Anyways I have a mission for you-"

"And Fallen."

"No just you-

"And Fallen. Look I've never finished a mission without her, and I plan to keep it that way."

"(Y/N), this is serious. It's about Aaron-"

"What's wrong with, Aaron?" I asked moving some hair from my face.

"He's a threat to your life."

"I'm probably more of a threat to him than he is to me."

"(Y/N)!" He growled. I held my hands up.

"Sorry, sorry." I said defensively. He rolled his eyes. "So what's this mission?"

"You need to kill Zane-"

"Oh my Irene! I went over this-"

"Anyways I've located him, and I just need you to go to his safe house, kill him, and smash the place up a bit, look for things and make it look like he was trying to hurt you."

"And why exactly would I do this?"

"Because Aaron is supposed to be next." I felt my heart skip a beat, but I kept my cool.

"And what makes you think I care?"

"Because, Fallen, told me about your relationship with him." I sighed angrily, and hit myself in the head.

"Clearly. So where is he?"

"Australia."

"You really hate me don't you?"

"No why would you think that?"

"Think for a minute. What if by the time I get to Australia he's on his way back? Ever think about that?"

"Actually yes."

"Of course you did."

"We're going to make a clone of you."

"...Excuse me? You mean you're going to make two of me, and send them in different directions of the world. And where exactly is this clone machine thing?"

"Oh we don't need one."

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"Here, just close your eyes and focus on there being two of you."

"You're making this sound very complex-"

"IT'S SIMPLE, JUST DO IT!" He snapped. I rolled my eyes, and closed them. Then thought of there being two (Y/N)'s. "You can open your eyes now."

When I opened my eyes I found myself staring into a pain of fire lit eyes. I jumped back and saw it was an exact replica of me, but with burning bright eyes. "As much as this is cool, why are her eyes like that?" I asked.

He walked over and examined her eyes. "I don't know actually, it's not like anyone will notice, they'll probably just think that it's like contacts or something."

"Okay now what?"

"You will go to Australia, and the clone will stay here under my watch. Go out the window."

"Are you crazy!?".

"You pushed Fallen out of the window-"

"To help her!" I snapped.

"Anyways just do it!"

Clone's P.O.V.

I watched the real (Y/N) jump put the window angrily. I looked at the captain. "Now what?"

"Go with Fallen, and pretend to search the city for, Zane, for a couple hours."

"Uh, okay. On it!" I ran out of his office to do as he wished.

Your P.O.V.

I made it to the airport by eight at night with literary nothing on me aside from my gun, badge, wallet, etc. I bought a ticket and headed in. I was checked, and seated. I stared out the window as the plane took off.

Zane, you're going to die.
