Chapter 1

A/N: It's been around 2 years since we've published this book and somewhere along the way we decided to just stop but recently a comment made me decide to pick it up. My writing has changed to how the book is now so I kind of did a hardcore edit. Thankfully we only had 3 chapters, so I'm going to add the new versions of the chapter and towards the end I'll keep the original. Anyways, thank you and I hope you all enjoy.

  Today is the day...the day I arrive at Hogwarts or as Americans would say, "Hogwash".

   Sorry, let me get you all up to date. My name is Anna, Anna Kirian. I'm a 16 year old, half blooded witch. Now I bet you're all wondering how an American like myself is attending Hogwarts. Well funny story, not so funny, I excelled in potions so well to the point I already met all of Ilvermorny's criteria, so they gave me the opportunity to go abroad and study at Hogwarts. And the best part is that my best friend Sarah is coming with me!

  Now here I am with Sarah at King's Cross Station about to make our way to platforms 9 ¾. The station is packed, bustling with life. The sound of squeaky cart wheels are heard all throughout the platforms. Both Sarah and I arrive at platform 9, hesitant to see who is going to walk through first. I'm so nervous, what if a No-Maj saw us?! Before I can dwell more on the situation, Sarah declares, "I'm going to walk through." And before I can even respond, she's already on the other side.

  I control all of my nerves and gather all my courage to get ready to walk through. I take one last breath, exhaling, "Here marks the beginning of a new adventure." With that I walk through and I'm speechless.

  If the No-Majs' platform wasn't already lively, well then this is something else. It just felt so magical. I mean of course it was magical, but it wasn't something I've experienced back home. It was full of adolescent wizards and wizards, pushing their trunks and onboarding the Hogwarts Express. Unfortunately, none of us had any one to see us off so we just let the staff take our luggage while we hopped on the train.

  Sarah and I were the only Americans, so we really didn't know where to sit. Thankfully, we found an empty booth and went to occupy it. It was just an ordinary train but for some reason it felt warm and cozy. Me and Sarah chatted for awhile until I started to doze off. Upon noticing this, Sarah grabbed her Divination book and began to read. I slightly smiled at the thought of the new school year before I finally drifted off an to a peaceful sleep.

  The day I will arrive at Hogwarts as a new temporary transfer student from Ilvermorny.

  My name is Anna and I'm a 16 year old Puckwudgie from America who's heading to England for a new, exciting school year. I excelled in potions class and knew every thing to know so the headmaster and Ilvermorny decided to send me to "Hogwash" to continue new studies there.

  My best friend Sarah is coming too! I couldn't be more excited! Here we are now at the train station in London, standing front of platform 9 ¾.

  The station is packed and bustling with life. The sound of squeaky wheels and tires are heard all throughout the station. And the smell of coal aromas through the air.

All of us were hesitant about who was gonna be the first one to walk through. What if one of those No-Maj's saw us?! Or do they call them muggles here? Well anyways...

"Who's going through first?" I questioned

"I'll go" and before I could even respond, Sarah already walked through the platform.

I waited a few seconds and took a deep breathe.

"Here marks the start of a new adventure" I said to myself as I walked through the wall.

  The other side felt so magical. What am I saying, of course it was magically. I mean, it was full of wizards and witches heading to Hogwarts but it just felt completely different from Ilvermorny.

  Sooner or later we heard the train's engine starting up, signaling us to hop on board. I am so anxious and nervous to see what its like and what house I'll be sorted into, all I can do is get there and wait to see what happens next.
