Chapter 12 (Deileigh) The Wake
Crying was all I heard. And Machines. I wasn't in hell, That was for sure. Everything was busy, and I opened my eyes. I was in the hospital. I sighed and whispered a hello. All attention was turned to me and I saw tear soaked faces. my mom snuggled up to My Dad and Axel and grace holding hands, a child on the side of both of them. They stared at me and then broke the awkward silence with questions. "Deileigh Why?" Was the main questions. But I heard my brothers voice over all. "Will you forgive me Deileigh?"
I paused. Why would I have too. "Why?" I asked. He sighed and tears fell.
What the heck was his problem? "A-Axel?" I asked. I watched as the whole family exited the room, looking back.
"Do you remember anything from our childhood?" He asked.
"Yeah. A lot, why?" I reponded.
"Like what?"
I smiled. It felt so different.
"Heh-heh. I remember when I was 12 and you wre 11, and you peed in my room. You wre irritating!" I laughed. Was I, happy?
"Yea...sorry Deileigh. Deileigh Rei Rei!"
I hadn't been called that in years. "What do I need to forgive you for Axe?"
"I-I'm sorry when we were little what I said to you." he looked down and run his hand through his hair. The fight we had! Oh, that was it. I motioned him to come over to me, knowing it was right. "It's ok. Hug your sister!" I whisperded, hugging him tightly. "Axel?" I said silently, trying to keep from crying. "You know that song?" I said remember my Dad's song he sang with his band. "The one dad sang to us when we were sad?" Axel grinned. "Yeah Axe!" I smiled back.
"I'm sorry if I say i'm weaker," I sang.
"But I don't care, I'm not scared," He sang.
"Of Loveeeeeee..." We both harmonised.
"I'm glad you are my sister Dei."
I let a salty tear fall to the bed.
"I'm glad you are my bro, A to the X, Add L and Styles." I laughed and cried at the same time.
