After Kurapika and Leorio made it out of the tunnel a wall came down, blocking the exit. As the wall was coming down this one man begging that we don't close off the exit. Though it was already too late for him now. The wall finished closing as I had seen his eyes widen in desperation. With the wall down I looked around my surroundings, there was a lot of fog and I tilted my head in thought. What was that place called again?

That's right. Swindlers swamp. The creatures here live off deceiving humans and then feeding off of them. It's been awhile since the last time I was here. A 'man' came from the side of the tunnel and claimed to be the real examiner. He pulled a man faced ape along with him to try and prove that Satozo was an imposter. Based off the eyes though I could easily tell he was a fake. Killua and Kurapika seemed to notice as well. Though Gon and Leorio were fooled. That is until cards planted themselves into the fake examiners body.

I myself didn't have time to do much seeing as there were cards flying at me as well. There were only two of them coming at me. Still I was annoyed by this. I caught one card in each of my hands with an irritated sigh. The chains on my wrist jingled slightly as I held the cards in my hands now.

Killua's eyes widened slightly in surprise. Gon looked surprised as well but his eyes told that he thought what I did was cool. At the moment though I was annoyed. The clown was talking to the examiner so I chose now to throw the cards back at him. He caught them easily though and glanced side ways at me.

"I do believe those are your cards" I said with an annoyed look plastered on my face.

A few people stared at me with wide eyes as I stood my ground against the clown. Though I could see in the clowns eyes. He had blood lust and he was going to be keeping an eye on me. I know his type. He seems like the type to chose their prey then wait for that prey to grow strong enough to put up a good fight.

It wasn't all that long after that incident that we all started to run again. This time though we were running through the swamp. AS we were running the fog became thicker and the clowns blood lust became more prominent. Gon, Killua, and I were all still running together. That blood lusting clown was behind us though.

"Gon, Kat, lets move up." Killua said.

"Yeas we don't want to lose sight of Satozo-san." Gon said as though he understood why Killua said we should move up.

"Actually we just need to put some distance between us and the clown." I stated matter-of-factly.

"Eh?" Gon said confused, "Leorio! Kurapika! Killua and Kat say we should move up." Gon called to the other two.

"Baka, can't you feel the tension." Killua scolded.

"He's too innocent to feel it Killua." I stated while glancing over at Killua.

"If we could we'd already be up there!" Leorio exclaimed back to us.

"Go ahead. We'll catch up with you!" Kurapika called in reassurance.

I was able to see that Gon frowned at that. Even so the three of us pushed forward. At this point we could no longer see the runners that had been in front of us. We were now running blindly. Only the sounds of the other examinees screams surrounded us.

The three of us paused in our steps. Only to fall. When we had stopped falling it was dark.My arms and legs were against some sort of slimy surface, like a tounge. That was not the only thing 'wrong' though. My arms were pressed up against the sides of one boy, his legs being over my arms. My legs were also pressed against the sides of the other boy and i could tell that they were above his legs, meaning I was practically almost sitting on his lap.

Trying to imagine how exactly we were positioned here was rather embarrassing. If you think about it not only am I practically sitting on one of the boys laps but my head would have to be rather near to the other boys lower regions.

"Gon. Kat. Are you both alright?" Killua asked as I felt the figure in front of me shift a bit.

"P-please try not to move too much. I-i'm fine." I said with a blush dusting itself along my cheeks.

"I'm okay." Gon said, his voice coming from behind me.

After Gon and I responded to Killua I heard the sound of a can being opened. It was then followed by the sound of the contents being spilt. My guess is that was why Killua had moved. He had an extra one of Tonpa's soda can laxatives. Soon after the creature that we were inside of threw up, setting us free from its mouth.

"Guess he didn't like the taste of us." Gon commented.

Killua then held up the now empty soda can, "No. It was this." he told Gon.

"Let's not speak of this incident." I said, my blush from earlier still lightly dusting my cheeks.

When I glanced up to look at the two boys for a response I saw a light tint of pink dusting Killua's cheeks.

"Right." Killua said with the nod of his head.

"Ok" Gon agreed with an innocent smile on his face.

After we had established this we started running again. This time Gon kept looking back though.

"I'm worried about Leorio and Kurapika." Gon commented.

"Forget about them. We need to keep running to catch up with the main group." Killua said.

Gon had started to run a bit further behind Killua and me at this point. So when he stopped following us I almost didn't realize it. Honestly I was tempted to go follow him, if only to keep him out of trouble. At the same time though I felt as though he would be okay. Since Killua didn't seem to notice Gon's absence I decided that I would act like I hadn't realized. Hopefully I will be able to pull it off.

With Gon well gone it was just me and Killua running side by side. I was still embarrassed from the incident earlier though. So I couldn't help the faint blush that dusted my cheeks. Luckily it wasn't long until the two of us were able to get close enough to catch sight of the main group.

"We finally caught up to the main group." Killua said before turning around.

I mimicked the motion to look back, "Eh? Where's Gon?" I questioned with the tilt of my head.

"He must have gone back to help those other two. We should follow the main group before they get out of sight again though. I'm sure that Gon will be able to make it." Killua said before running towards the group.

He didn't sound as though he believed his own words though. Even so I had confidence that Gon would make it. Otherwise I will forever regret not following after him.

Killua and I were able to catch up to the main group with relative ease. After we had caught up it didn't take much longer for us to approach a clear area that revealed tall walls. Satozo told us that we would wait here until 12, when the next phase of the exam will start. This would allow other applicants who had gotten lost a chance to be able to make it to the second phase location.

"Hey Killua" I called while poking the boy's arm.

"What is it Kat?" he asked as he turned to face me.

I pointed over at a tall tree at the edge of the clearing, "I'm going to rest atop that tree and watch for Gon. Go you wanna join me?" I asked him with the tilt of my head.

A light pink once again dusted his cheeks as he shoved his hands into his pockets, "I'll just watch for Gon from down here." he said.

"Oh. Okay" I said after blinking my eyes.

So I walked over to the tree that I had pointed out to Killua. Looking up I looked to find the largest and highest branch. After my eyes caught sight of it I jumped up and onto the branch. Then I sat down and looked around, watching for Gon as I kicked my feet which caused the chains on my ankles to jingle quietly.
