Chapter 3 - You can call me Sexy

”Will you stop that? I’m trying to read here!” I angrily grunt at agent Williams.
”So? You don’t need to read that, SUD doesn’t exist anymore. Neither do you so technically you don’t have to follow their rules any longer. I’m just saying.” He laughs. He’s kind of… I don’t know, cute? Nah, I’m just imagining things. He’s like a pimple in the butt. I’ve just been on this plane with him for three hours and I’m ready to chop of his head and feed it to the crying baby three rows behind us.
”Shut up. How can you be so happy about this? Aren’t you gonna miss going out on missions and having a real identity? I don’t even know what to call you? Williams, agent, Kyle?” I exclaim, running my hands through my messy hair.
”Hey, don’t worry, you can call me sexy. Or maybe hottie, whatever floats your boat.” He snickers evilly. Twat. Well, all my attraction against him was now absolutely gone.
”Hey, I’m just joking. You can call me Kyle or Williams. What should I can you?” He must have sensed my irritation because soon his smirk turned into a genuine smile.
”You can call me whatever you want. I know you know my name.” I answer, still not sure about trusting him with my kindness.
”Hmm… I think I’ll call you… Oh! I’ve got it! I’ll call you Lexie!” His smirk returns as I shoot him a horrified glare.
”No! I hate that nickname! Please don’t call me that, please!” I beg him, irritation building up in my body.
”Let me think about it… Hm… Nah, I’ll call you Lexie. It’s a done deal.” He settles against the uncomfortable seat and close his eyes contently. He’s such an ass!
”Lexie.”
Poke.
”Lexie.”

”Lexie get up!” I shoot out of my seat, almost falling onto the floor of the airplane.
”I’m up, I’m up! Dammit! What is it with you and your bloody poking?” I exclaim angrily, smoothing out my clothes.
”We’ll land in fifteen minutes, you gotta get ready. We will be picked up directly outside the gate by someone from SUD who’ll install us as show us the apartment.” He speaks in a hushed tone, not wanting to draw attention to us.
”Remember that as soon as we land, we’re a couple in love, handholding and kissing included. By the way, we might have to practice on that though.” He winks at me smugly and I can’t help but sticking my tongue out at him.
”Stop being a cocky prick.” I mutter angrily at him, throwing him an icing glare. He just snickers and turns away.
’Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve just landed in New York. Please remain seated until the seatbelt sign turns off. We hope you had a pleasant flight and that you’ll fly with us soon again’ The raspy voice from the speakers go through the whole plane, people huffing impatiently while the plane slowly drives closer to the huge building.
Soon a ’ding’ rung through the plane and the seatbelt sign turned off. We quickly stood up from our places, grabbing my purse and his small backpack. He surprised me by grabbing my hand in his and pushing through the crowd. Just now I notice how much taller he than me he is. He must be 6 foot something while I’m just 5’2.
He abruptly stops and I notice we’ve exited the big airport. He pulls me along to a black car and open the backseat door for me. I silently scoot over as he slips into the car, closing the door behind him. My head is swirling with emotion, and I can’t really figure out all of them, but I do know one of the feelings.
I’m bloody nervous.
