"Mum, can Jai stay over for the night please?" I ask her. He was staying a hotel at the moment but his mum didn't mind.
"Sure." She smiles and we immediately give each other a hug.
"Oh yeah, Jai, this is Trisha." I introduce her.
"Hi." She says coldly.
"Hey." Jai smiles but gets no smile back.
"Well then, should we go?" I ask.
"Yep." Mum replies.
During the car ride a had a sleep resting against Jai's shoulder, it was nice. I woke up right before we got to Trisha's to drop her off.
"Bye." She simply said before exiting and closing the door.
"Bye!" I yell so she can hear me.

We got into the house and I showed Jai around, then we went up to my room. "Jai, you don't know how much I missed you." I hug him. "And I have to tell you something." I begin.
"Go ahead." He says.
"Well, yesterday- I- um, had to, um-" I start forcing myself not to cry. "I had to turn my dads life support off." I lay on the bed, tears welling up in my eyes.
"Charlie, I'm so sorry." He engulfs me in a hug. I let my tears spill onto his shirt and he wipes them away. "We are going to get through it together ok?" I nod. I am so glad to have Jai back.
