A/N:
Someone chat? :/
------
We decided on picking wild child as the movie. Gotta love chick flicks. We quickly made popcorn and put the movie on the TV. We didn't make much conversation throughout it. It was soon 8pm and we were just lying on the bed talking.
"It's getting a bit late, are you sure you don't have to be anywhere?" I ask him.
"Nah, no one wants me home anyways." He holds his gaze steady on the ceiling.
"What do you mean!?" I quickly sit up. "Who do you live with?" I ask.
"Just my dad. He's probably at the pub though. He's always there." He frowns.
"I know what it's like to have no one around all the time." I lay back down next to him.
"Yeah it kinda sucks. I hate it how people always complain that they want to be left alone by their parents. But until they are left alone, they really just have no idea." He says and I agree.
"I know right. But then they complain about all the other small things as well." I say.
"Yeah." He says in agreement then smiles at me and I smile back.
"Do you want some dinner?" I ask him and he shakes his head.
"No thanks, I'm not hungry." He says.
"Alright. Ugh, I don't want to go to school tomorrow, and face Trisha, or anyone as a matter of fact." I sigh.
"It's alright, I'll be here." He laughs.
"Can I just say something." I ask getting a little nervous.
"Sure." He says sitting up close to me.
"I just want to say, thank you, for actually being here when no one else is." I smile. "That might sound a little cheesy, but it's true, everyone has turned against me and, well, you haven't. But wouldn't you rather be hanging out with your guy friends then me and recess and lunch?" I ask.
"Firstly, your welcome, and I don't really have that many. Guys have the same problem as girls do with the socialising thing, just a little different." He explains.
"But your so gorgeous, and nice, and everything good like how can someone not like you?" I babble.
"Well I'm flattered, but I really don't want to be friends with those mainstream idiots anyway." We both laugh together before my phone rings causing us to snap out of our hysterical trance.
"Hello?" I say into the phone after reaching over and grabbing it.
"Hey it's me!" I hear Jai's voice echo through the line.
"Omg! How are you?" I ask.
"I'm ok. I'm missing you though." I can almost just picture his frown right now.
"Aww I miss you too! Like crazy. You have no idea." I smile forgetting he can't see me.
"I just called to see whats up and when I can see you next? How about next weekend, I'm not busy then." He goes on.
"That sounds perfect, text me the details." I laugh.
"Ok, well I gotta go." He says.
Before I could say anything else I hear a bang and an 'ow' coming from next to me, followed by laughter.
"What was that? Are you ok?" He says and I burst out laughing as well.
"I'm- fine-." I say in between breaths of laughter.
"Aaron what are you even doing on the floor?" I say, holding in the last laughs I had left.
"I, uh, fell off the bed?" He says and we both end up laughing some more.
"Hello?" I hear Jai on the phone, I totally forgot.
"Haha, sorry Jai." I apologise.
"That's fine, who's with you?" He asks.
"Just a friend from school." I say.
"Uh ok, well, as I was saying I gotta go." He says rather quickly.
"Ok. Love you." I say making kissing noises into the phone causing him to giggle.
"Love you too." He replies then hangs up.
"Aaron I was so talking to someone!" I laugh.
"Was that Jai?" He asks.
"Yeah." I reply.
"Aw cuttteeeeee." He coos.
"Shoosh you!" We both laugh and lay back down on the bed. A yawn escapes both our mouths and we decide to go to sleep.
"Goodnight." He says.
"Night."
