A/N:
GUYS I'M SUCH A BAD AUSTRALIAN.... *other people* happy Australia Day... *me* It's Australia Day...? Haha oh...
Lmao short chapter sorry.
------
Another day that I woke up dreading school. Actually it's only day 2 of the year, but I already hate it. I got ready for the day and went straight to the bus stop. I got on the bus as my usual routine sitting at the back and putting my head phones in. A few stops after I look up to see Aaron had just got on. Do I talk to him? Or wait for him to see me...
"Hey." He says sitting down next to me, snapping me out of my focus.
"Oh hey." I said in reply.
"I didn't catch your number?" He said handing me his phone and it took me a moment to realise what he had said.
"Uh yeah um ok." I said really awkwardly. He should be the person I'm most comfortable around at the moment, he's being the nicest. I soon entered my number into his phone and he did the same to my phone.
"So how you holdin up?" He asks.
"Pretty average." I rest my head on the bus window.
"I know. How about we skip school today? Get your mind off stuff." He offers.
"I like that idea." I laugh and we got off at the mall.
"Let's get food." He says and I agree. We decide on KFC and he refuses for me to pay so ends up paying.
"Thanks for lunch." I thanked him.
"Anytime." He says as we finish eating and start walking away. "What do you wanna do today?" He asks.
"You could come over? No ones home." I suggest.
"Sure." He says and we get on the bus going the opposite way until it reaches my house where we get off.
"This is it." I say unlocking the door.
"Nice." He says and I show him around.
