Chapter 14 - Is food a hobby?

I said goodbye to mum and Jai led me up to his hotel room he shares with another guy called Taylor Henderson. He arranged for Ronan to be up there too so they could both meet me.
Jai slowly unlocked the door to find the 2 guys sitting and talking.

"Hey guys, this is Charlie." He introduced me.

"Hey, I have heard so much about you." Taylor winked and I blushed while Jai gave his the evils.

"Hii." I said shyly and they both stood up.

"Hi, I'm Ronan." Ronan said and gave me a hug and I returned it. "Well, do you guys want to go get some lunch?" He asks and we all nod.

"So, Charlie." Taylor starts as we are walking down the street to the food coart. "What are your hobbies?" He asks me.

"I enjoy playing guitar, singing, music in general, I like playing soccer.."

"Soccer!?" Jai stops. "You never told me that." Everyone laughs.

"Well, yeah." I laugh.

"Continue." Taylor says.

"I suck at school, uh, my dad recently passed away, um..." I say.

"Are you serious? I'm sorry." Taylor says.

"It's fine. I mean, it's not fine, but I'm fine." I smile and we reach our destination. "What food do we feel like?" I ask. "I'll pay." I say.

"KFC for the win." Ronan laughs and we join in.

"Charlie your not paying for anything." Jai says.

"Yes I am, remember when we were at the mall a few days ago and you didn't let me pay? And I said I'm getting you back? Well I'm getting you back now." I smirk.

"Nah. Put that wallet away." He directs to my wallet I'm holding.

"Nope." I say and he kisses me on the cheek.

"Come on love birds, there's time for making out later, right now we are hungry." Taylor laughs and Ronan joins in.

"Alright let's go." Ronan said and we all made our way to KFC. Ronan ended up paying because he refused that anyone else did. I got my usual and so did Jai. I didn't pay attention to what Ronan and Taylor were ordering because I was too busy looking at a couple.

They looked my age. 14. They were kissing by a water fountain. When they stopped the girl sat on the guy and started talking. She soon looked my way and saw me staring and gave me a look like she was out for blood.

"Charlie." Jai waved his hand in front of my face and snapped me out of my glare.

"Oh uh yeah." I smile.

"Let's go eat." He says taking my hand and leading me with Ronan and Taylor.
