So I didn't make it to Ally's, instead I'm stuck here at work re-stocking shit, but that's what I'm paid to do, so I better stop sulking. When I told Ally couldn't make it she dead ass spammed my phone and it froze for awhile.

Camila even texted me through Ally's phone telling me how selfish I am for not showing (she was joking of course), it warmed my heart how Camila actually wanted me there, like she sent me voice messages of herself whining for me to skip work and make it to the barbecue. Gosh she's such a cutie. As I begun to drift off thinking about Camila, the song Halo came into my mind. I started to lightly hum the lyrics. After humming to Halo I stated singing the song effortlessly.

Suddenly the album in my hand flew out as I flinched at Normani's voice, I heard a few giggles coming from behind me.

"Every time I finish singing in public somebody scares the fuck out of me," I panted still traumatised.

"Hey, that was really good though," Normani complimented.

"Thank you," I said while trying to compose my breathing from the scare.

"Yeah your voice was really soothing, like damn, you would think people with a high range can only pull Halo off, but you proved them wrong," Ally added on making me furiously blush.
