Y/N's POV

"Uh, Y/N, Michael and Calum, stay behind for a minute," Mr. K demanded as the bell rang.

The three of us looked at each other with questioning looks as we sat back down on the plastic chairs.

Once the music room was empty, Mr. K cleared his throat and smirked at us.

"So, are you guys going to the winter formal?" He asked.

"I might have to," I groaned, Camila has been buzzing about the winter formal for weeks.

"If Y/N goes, we go," Calum nonchalantly shrugged.

Michael just mumbled out 'word' while throwing up a peace sign.

"Great then! Then it wouldn't be a problem if you three were the band playing at the winter formal?" He smirked.

"Isn't there a DJ?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"No student wanted to DJ this year," he answered.

"Okay? Then just hire and actual DJ?" I raised one eyebrow at him.

"They cost more."

"Cheap motherfuckers," Calum muttered under his breath making me stifle a laugh.

"We have a list of song suggestions we recommend you guys to play," he handed each one of us a sheet of paper.

"Sir, we haven't made our decision," I said while looking through the songs, they were actually good suggestions.

"Right, will you guys perform the for the night?"

"Band discussion!" Michael hollered out.

Mr. K nodded his head understandingly as he stepped outside giving us ten minutes to decide.

"I'm in, what about you two?" Michael asked Calum and I.

"Fuck it, I'm in," I sighed.

"Okay, then we're doing it," Calum decided.

"Great! We'll like you to practice anytime you get here in the school music room!" We looked at the door way to see Me. K standing there with a satisfied smile. I shook my head as a small chuckled escaped my lips.

Mr. K gave us notes to give to our teachers explaining why we arrived late. As soon as we stepped out of the music room Calum and I raced to English as Michael went the other way.

"Y/N, Calum. Glad you decided to join our class."

I mumbled out a quiet 'sorry miss' and quickly handed her the note and made my way to a vacant seat next to my girlfriend as Calum followed behind me.

Camila turned to look at me with a small smile as I returned a nod in acknowledgment while the teacher continued on with her lesson. As we were taking notes, I felt Camila slide her free hand into my hand, a small smile made its way on my face as I squeezed her hand and concentrated on my notes.

"You guys aren't subtle, I can see your blushing cheeks and your obvious grade school hand holding," Calum quietly snickered making me kick his leg earning a painful groan from him.

"Calum? Something to share?" The teacher glared at him making me snicker, Calum mumbled out an embarrassed 'no miss' as he continued to rub his shin.

"You're a bitch," he said under his breath.

After a few more minutes of taking notes down, we finally got into some work which meant we could converse amongst each other, just not loudly.

"Why were you late to English?" Camila asked.
