Haeyoung was looking at her hands when their homeroom teacher Miss Jeong entered the room. Miss Jeong was a young teacher and with only twenty-nine years she was close to the struggles all these teenagers had in her class and made her the favourite teacher of all of them. She understood their problems because it hadn't been long since she went through the same troubles.

Miss Jeong knew that Highschool wasn't easy for the students, especially for people who dreamed the day away like Huang Renjun or were constantly frowning or in fear to say something wrong like Jung Haeyoung. She also knew that cocky students like Lee Donghyuck were actually insecure but she never treated them weirdly or made them act out of their comfort zone.

Miss Jeong scanned the class with her eyes until she found the dark blonde head she was looking for. "Oh, you are already here." She called over to the new student who stood up and bowed, catching all the attention.

Haeyoung and Bongcha turned around as well and Haeyoung could hear Bongcha gasp once her best friend had scanned all the features of the new boy's face. "Welcome to our school, Lee Jeno." Miss Jeong welcomed him and he bowed again. "Thank you." He mumbled with a dashing smile, which made Bongcha clench Haeyoung's arm.

Lee Jeno had a bright smile and a beautiful eye-smile, so Bongcha knew the rumours were true: Lee Jeno was the bomb-dot-com. She gulped and leant towards Haeyoung's ear. "He is so cute. Haeyoung, we have to get to talk to him before the other people get him. He would be perfect for our squad wouldn't he?" Bongcha rambled and Haeyoung eyed her carefully. "Sure we can talk to him once the class is over," Haeyoung said but Bongcha pouted and shook her head. "Too late. He sits in front of Jaemin-ah and Renjun that weirdo. If we're not fast enough they are going to snatch him!" She complained and turned to Miss Jeong and raised her hand.

Miss Jeong looked at the pretty student, whom she knew as lazy and chatty. "Miss Bongcha, what can I do for you?" Miss Jeong asked with a slight smile. "I volunteer to show Jeno-ah the school." She proposed and Miss Jeong cocked an eyebrow. Oh Bongcha wasn't one to volunteer just like that so the teacher knew that Bongcha was serious with showing the new student the school.

Miss Jeong smiled and looked over to Jeno who seemed curious about what was going on in the front of the classroom. "Jeno-ah, Oh Bongcha is going to show you around our school after class. Please take her offer." She said and Jeno nodded before looking over to Bongcha who waved him happily.

Haeyoung watched her friend with eager eyes. She knew exactly that Bongcha was just doing this to get closer to the new guy, but she wouldn't mind. She blinked twice and looked at Miss Jeong who was starting with their Korean class.

After Korean and Maths was over, Bongcha was as fast as lightning, when she packed her bag and rushed over to Lee Jeno's seat to wait for him. She smiled down at him, while he packed his stuff. "Oh Bongcha." She introduced herself with a bow when he was done and pointed towards the door. "Shall we start?" She asked and when Jeno nodded, her smile got even brighter and she led him through the classroom.

Renjun who had watched these two scoffed. "What does he have that makes a girl all jolly?" He asked and cussed in Chinese which made Jaemin chuckle. "Renjun, don't waste your precious brain cells on Oh Bongcha's love life. She is just after him because he is good-looking." Jaemin said and packed his stuff, looking towards the front of the class where Haeyoung was struggling with the zipper of her new backpack.

"I'll go and help Haeyung-ah—" Jaemin started when he saw Lee Donghyuck rushing to his cousin's side and helping her with her backpack, which made Haeyoung smile brightly and ruffle Donghyucks hair. Jaemin frowned.

"What were you going to do?" Renjun asked and followed Jaemin's sight, seeing Haeyoung and Donghyuck leaving the classroom together. He carefully looked at Jaemin and tried to read his best friend's face, which wasn't easy. But the prominent frown on Na Jaemin's lips was too obvious and for someone who wanted to be a detective like Renjun, he knew what the frown meant.

Jaemin didn't want to see Jung Haeyoung with other guys.

"Renjun, I see you in the cafeteria. I have to see something." Jaemin mumbled and rushed after Donghyuck and Haeyoung. Renjun gulped and sighed, taking out his notepad and jotting down the things he had just seen before starting to search for Haewoo.

He didn't want to work with Park Haewoo, but he was afraid he was going to loose Jaemin to this girl who wasn't even special so he made a pact with the devil himself and was feeding Haewoo with information so she and her minions could destroy Jung Haeyoung once and for all and he could have his best friend back to himself.

Jaemin was biting his lip, watching Donghyuck and Haeyoung meeting up with their Sunbae Mark Lee, Haeyoung hugging the older boy before the three of them went to buy their lunch. Jaemin sighed. "What am I even doing?" He asked himself before he continued following the three of them.

He managed to stand right behind them in the queue for the food and eavesdropped on their conversation, which he hated himself for doing. But he wanted to know Jung Haeyoung better and he needed to know why she wasn't talking to him anymore.

"So your birthday is in two weeks," Donghyuck started and Jaemin perked up. "Are you planning anything special for your sixteenth birthday?" Mark asked and Haeyoung shook her head. "Bongcha is probably already planning something stupid." Haeyoung sighed. "Do you guys remember how she made me wear this baby costume and dance in the middle of Hongdae for my fifteenth birthday?" She sighed. "She is always having so stupid ideas." She sighed and Mark nodded.

"You won't believe what she made her wear on Halloween!" Mark said towards Donghyuck and Jaemin couldn't stop himself there. "She had to wear a Harley Quinn costume even if she wanted to wear Cardcaptor Sakura!" Jaemin blurted out and Mark, Donghyuck and Haeyoung turned around.

Donghyuck cocked an eyebrow and Mark eyed Jaemin nervously. "You remembered—" Haeyoung spoke, but was interrupted by his cousin. "Haven't your mother taught you that it is impolite to eavesdrop?" Donghyuck spoke with a low voice and Jaemin bowed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to eavesdrop, really. I just heard you talk about Halloween and I remembered the conversation Haeyoung and I had on that day." Jaemin said and Donghyuck looked at his cousin.

"Are you and Jaemin friends?" Donghyuck asked and Jaemin sighed. "Of course we are—" "No we're not. I just happen to run into him in the haunted house and he helped me out." Haeyoung said and Mark eyed Jaemin and his defeated expression. "Ah, I just remembered I forgot my lunch money," Jaemin said to make the situation less embarrassing, before turning around and rushing away.

Mark watched Jaemin walk away and then look towards Haeyoung who was slightly following him with her eyes before continuing to tell him what Bongcha had made her done in the time he was in Japan.
