Mr Jung rushed through the halls until he reached the office of Nurse Jeong. He ripped the door open, almost tripping over his own legs and took a deep breath. Nurse Jeong just came around a curtain, a towel with blood stains in her hand. "Where's my daughter?" Mr Jung asked in a panic. "Where's my Haeyoung!" His voice got louder and Nurse Jeong smiled carefully before pulling away from the curtain.

Haeyoung was unconscious and lying on her bed. The cut on her forehead was taped and her nose was also taped. A big blue bruise was on her left cheek and her clothes were dirty.

Nurse Jeong looked at him. "We don't know what happened yet but two classmates of Haeyoung had found her by the steps of the gym. It's a big possibility that Haeyoung fell down the steps. We all know how clumsy Haeyoung is." Nurse Jeong said and watched Mr Jung kneel down next to his injured daughter.

A while later Haeyoung woke up, her head spinning and she was feeling dizzy. The taste of blood was still in her mouth and was making her gag. Her father looked at her. "Haeyoung, how are you feeling?" He asked and Haeyoung opened her mouth. "Appa?" She asked and Mr Jung hugged his daughter carefully and looked in her face. "What happened?" He asked and told her the thoughts of Nurse Jeong.

Haeyoung sighed and smiled carefully. "I fell down the stairs." She lied. "I was carrying my stuff down when I tripped over my shoelaces and fell down the stairs. I might have bumped my head a couple of times. The steps are very steep." She continued her lie and felt horrible inside when her father only shook his head and hugged her once again.

"You are very clumsy lately, Jung Haeyoung." Mr Jung spoke and Haeyoung looked down. "You're going to stay home until you are completely fine again and then you can attempt school again. We get Donghyuck to get your stuff from school so you won't miss anything." Mr Jung explained and Nurse Jeong nodded and quickly said Goodbye to Haeyoung before she and her father left the school grounds.

It was the beginning of December when Haeyoung first came back to school. Most of the people weren't even surprised that she was back because no one of them had realised that the girl had been absent.

Donghyuck smiled when he saw his cousin and sat down next to her. "It's been three weeks, Haeyoung. Are you sure you're fine?" He asked when Haeyoung wiped her hair out of her face. "Donghyuck let's skip this class." She said and Donghyuck widened his eyes. "Why would you do that?" He asked and Haeyoung simply shook her shoulders. "Let's just skip this class and the next one. Korean and History isn't important at all." She continued to speak and Donghyuck sighed.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you but I won't skip class with you," Donghyuck said and Haeyoung sighed.

After this day she skipped school more often. Sometimes she only appeared for Home Room and disappeared right after and then there were days she never came at all. Donghyuck was worried and spoke to Mark about Haeyoung's weird behaviour. Mark nodded as well.

"Something is off about her." The older boy spoke and Donghyuck nodded. "It's ever since she fell down the stairs the third time... Do you think she really fell down the stairs again?" Mark asked and Donghyuck shook his shoulders.

"Hyung, something is going on with Haeyoung. Something she isn't telling us about." Donghyuck sighed and Mark nodded looking at the seat Haeyoung was usually sitting on at lunchtime.

Oh Bongcha, who was sitting on the other side of the cafeteria watched the two boys. She knew they were probably worried about Haeyoung but no one knew why Jung Haeyoung was skipping school. People could only presume things.

Bongcha sighed. The view she had in front of her when she found Haeyoung three weeks ago was still haunting her. The girl didn't look like she just fell down a flight of stairs and every normal person would see that Haeyoung obviously got beaten up, But Jeno wanted to tell the nurse that they thought she fell down the stairs.

Jeno didn't want to be a witness and get involved with stuff like that so he kept himself reserved. And so did Bongcha.

Jaemin, on the other hand, was worried. He sighed once again when he saw Jung Haeyoung's seat empty before walking up to Renjun. "Renjun how long has Jung Haeyoung been skipping school?" He asked his clever friend and Renjun opened his notebook.

Renjun had ripped out all the pages he had written down when he was helping Haewoo and now he was keeping track of Jung Haeyoung for Jaemin. "Hm," Renjun started which worried Jaemin even more. "The last time she was here for a whole day has been before her accident," Renjun said and looked at Jaemin.

"I am worried," Jaemin confessed even though Renjun already knew it. The Chinese lad laughed. "I know. She is making your heart hurt with her absence?" Renjun teased and Jaemin rolled his eyes. "It's time for you to get a crush too!" Jaemin laughed but stopped when he saw Renjun quickly looking away.

"Wait..." Jaemin started and looked at his friend. "Are you telling me that you fancy someone?" The cheerful boy asked and Renjun tried to hide his blush. "I am not and now leave me be." Renjun hid his face behind his notebook and Jaemin laughed.

"I am going to visit Haeyoung at home today. I need to know what she's up to. She can't stay absent that long can she?" Jaemin asked and Renjun nodded. "You go and visit your crush... By the way how long have you actually like Jung Haeyoung?" He asked and Jaemin smiled. "Remember our first year in Highschool?" Jaemin asked and Renjun nodded. "Sports day?" Jaemin continued and Renjun nodded once again.

"Ever since I saw Jung Haeyoung run in that race I have been crushing on her." Jaemin confessed and Renjun nodded impressed. "But it doesn't seem like she's interested in you. Like at all!" Renjun exclaimed and Jaemin grinned. "That's just a spur of the moment. Soon she'll see what an amazing boy I am!" Jaemin started giggling and Renjun only shook his head.
