The Choice

Nialls POV

I ran up the stairs to Wrens dorm, skipping some on the way. When I was at her door, I knocked and she answered seconds after, and when I saw her beautiful blue eyes full of tears, I was concerned.

"Wren, baby you okay?" I asked her and she nodded

"Im just literally so confused." She said and sat on her bed and hid her face away, continuing to cry.

"What can I do?" I asked her, getting on my knees so I could be eye level with her.

She didn't answer for awhile. I would hear her sniffle every now and again. Then she lifted her head up, cheeks tear stained, her eyes glossy, and her mouth trembled.

"Niall.. Im scared." She says to me and I stand up, to sit on the bed. I pull her onto my lap and she hids her face in my shoulder. Just like the very first night.

"Of what baby?" I ask and wipe her tears falling with my thumb.

She pulls herself closer and then looks up at me.

"Of letting you in." She says and I instantly feel love for her, more than I have before. There was no way in hell was I loosing Wren.

"Babe, You dont have to be afraid. You just need to have trust. Do you trust me?" I ask her

She nods "Of course"

I shake my head.

"No. Not in the simple friendship trust. Do you trust me enough to have your heart?" I ask her and she just stares at me.

"I-I dont know..." She starts to say and then I interrupt her.

"Wren, I care about you in a way I never thought I would be able to. I would do anything for you Wren. I wont hurt you like he did." When I mention him, I notice she flinches and I hold her tighter to show her that im here "Im here for you."

She peers up at me and gives me a small, kind smile. I pull her face up to mine, and kiss her. She kisses me back, and this time its different. She wants me to.

My phone then begans to ring and I pull back to answer it. She just watches me.

The caller ID displays a number that I dont recognize, but I answer anyways.

"Hello?"

"Niall?"

It took me a moment to recognize the voice.

"Chance?" I say his name d he laughs

"No shit Sherlock. Whatsup man?" He says and I laugh

"Nothin much man, how you been?"

"Pretty good. No complaints really. Hey listen Im driving, but I called because I was in town, and wanted to see if you wanted to grab a bite to eat. Catch up a bit.?"  He asks and I laugh

"Sure bud! Where and When?" I ask

"How about the old Pizza Place. 6 o'clock."

"Sure! See you later!"

I hang up and look back at Wren, who has fallen asleep in my arms. I smile and lay her on the bed. I bend and kiss her cheek, then start to leave, when I hear her mummble in her sleep "I love you"

I head back over to my dorm, and start to get change and cleaned up for dinner when theres a knock on my door. When I answer it, Im suprised by Zayn, Harry, and Liam.

"Hey guys!" I say and they all walk in, quiet.

"Whatsup? " I say to them and Liam and Zayn sharr a brief glance.
