A blanket of snow covered the ground as you skipped along the sidewalk to your house, which you shared with your boyfriend, the Prince of all Saiyans. You partly wanted him to celebrate the holidays with you, but he'd much rather train.
"I don't want to partake in Earth's festivities," you mocked in Vegeta's voice under your breath as you slowly opened the door. Much to your surprise, the sayian was sprawled on the couch, sweat glistening on his bare skin. You took a moment to admire his toned muscles as you sauntered in.
"Taking a break already?" You mused, taking off your coat as the heat from the vents hit you.
"Hmph, I took your words into consideration, woman. Don't make a big deal about it," Vegeta growled, not meeting your gaze as a barely noticeable blush of pink tinted his cheeks. You couldn't tell if it was because he was embarrassed or from training outside.
"Aw thank you Veggie!" You wrapped your arms around him in a bear hug, not caring about the scent of sweat assaulting your nose.
Vegeta seemed to blush more by this and flailed. "Your welcome... Y/n..." His onyx eyes narrowed. "By the way, don't call me that."
You chuckled and punched his muscular arm lightly. "What if I do?" You teased. "Besides, we're alone, I'm allowed to call you that if you insist on calling me 'woman'."
Vegeta rolled his eyes and stood up. "You earthlings have too many holidays. You're lucky I love you enough to join you in them."
You smiled. "And you're lucky I love you enough to tolerate your constant training," you merely responded.
____________________________________A few moments later, you were dragging poor Vegeta around the City Square, which was beautifully decorated. You were constantly buying treats, which even Vegeta seemed to enjoy. You were surprised Vegeta wasn't being his usual grumpy self. Instead, he was trying to be nicer and ignore the crowds of people. It seemed almost perfect, until you and your prince heard Goku's voice shout your names.
In a matter of seconds, Vegeta's rival was by your side, flashing the two of you a cheerful grin.
"Hey Goku. What brings you here?" You asked, greeting the other saiyan with a firm handshake.
"Well, Chi Chi wanted me to finish up Christmas gifts for all you. I got you-"
Goku was shut up by Chi Chi fiercely elbowing him in the ribs. "You're not supposed to tell!" She hissed. To you, she gave a polite nod. "Excuse him. He doesn't understand the concept of Christmas just yet."
You laughed a little. "Neither does Vegeta. I don't think he got me anything but he's definitely putting on a happy face for me so I can't complain."
What you didn't notice was a sly smirk from Vegeta, giving Chi Chi a wink and then pressing a finger to his lips.
Chi Chi stared past you, presumably to watch Vegeta's movements, and then gave another nod. "Well, he'll learn in time surely. If not, feel free to borrow my frying pan."
