We both eagerly pushed open the doors to the venue, the music reaching our ears, along with some clatter of glasses from those who were enjoying a drink. I turned to Brooklyn, moving some of my hair out of my face, needing to finish what I was saying back at the cafe.
"Thank you, you've shown me what it's like to just be free for a while, not having to worry about what tomorrow holds. It's a great feeling; and you're really quite the company!" Brooklyn smiled at this, pulling me in for a hug. His cologne must've been all over me now since I wore his blazer; and because of the hug we had shared.
"It's no problem, you're a real sweet and beautiful girl, I wouldn't be surprised if you had a boyfriend." He chuckled, placing one of his hands behind his neck. Was he nervous?
"Thanks, I don't have one though. Oh that's right, aren't you and Kayla Marwell dating?" I asked, remembering the news story I had heard once before. I didn't really pay much attention to the news though, so I could be wrong and making a fool out of myself here.
"Yeah we are, but we've been in a few arguments recently." Brooklyn frowned, clearly upset with the way his relationship was going.
"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that."
"It's okay, really. Anyway, its best if you go and find your parents now, you need to catch that flight." He smiled, although I could see that it wasn't too genuine. He was probably still upset about the girlfriend situation.
"Well, thanks again. I hope to see you around. Goodbye Brooklyn. Oh and here's your blazer." I said, handing him his blazer. He thanked me, looking deeply into my eyes. A few moments passed and our eyes were still glued to each other's, making me fearful at what was going to happen next. I tore my eyes away from his, glancing around for my parents as the upbeat music still vibrated throughout the room. In the end I spotted them by the drinks fountain, they must've also been looking for me by the way they had looked around in a state of hurry. I smiled at Brooklyn one last time, before leaving him there and making my way to my family. Miles smiled at me when he saw me and mum was the first to speak.
"Oh there you are Luna! It's time to get going sweetie." Mum said, grabbing Dad's hand as we all made our way towards the exit. We passed Brooklyn who waved goodbye with a fake smile plastered on his face. I'm sure he'll work it out with Kayla soon.
Oh wait! Oh no! The media were taking photos of us! They're going to start spreading rumours about us; which means if Kayla finds out Brooklyn's relationship is going down the drain!
"Are you okay? You didn't already fall for Brooklyn did you?" Miles asked, concern showing in his eyes as I shook my head as an answer quickly.
"Of course not, I just didn't think much about moving to London for a few weeks. I mean, most of my friends are here." I told him, but missed out the details about Brooklyn and Kayla. Miles really didn't need to know about it, did he? He raised his eyebrows at me, before dismissing it.
"Okay then, let's get heading to London." He smiled, before showing his distaste in the matter by rolling his eyes. Miles just wanted to stay in LA and not have to travel so often. He was a simple person, and nothing would change that about him.
"Yeah." I smirked at him to be a tease, in which he returned with a glare of warning, making me laugh.
"Come on kids." Dad said as we reached the carpark, spotting our car.
Here we go then.

I hope you guys also enjoyed this chapter. Next chapter will be a filler one, so I hope it's not too boring for you guys, but the action will get better from then on out. I mean, as they land down in London, that's when all the fun starts!
