Back To Luna's POV:
I woke up with mixed feelings the next morning. I mean Ollie, who I really started to like, told me he wasn't into me, or any girl for that matter; and then there was Brooklyn, and I definitely didn't want to think about whatever was between us two.
I got up, doing the usual morning routines I do every morning. Then, I was off to the living room where Mum and Dad were sitting with who presumed to be Dad's agent, considering Mum mentioned him yesterday.
"Morning Dad. Morning mum." I said, before heading through the living room to the kitchen.
"Morning sweetheart." Mum replied, following me into the kitchen, kissing me on the cheek before continuing, "Would you mind picking up Miles from the Beckham's? Me and your father really need to sort out this business; and I need to talk to you later."
"Okay love you." I quickly blurted out, knowing she'd already be on her way back to the living room. I quickly ate some breakfast, drunk a tea and put on my leather jacket, heading out to go to the Beckham's.
On my way there, I realised I should have chosen to take my raincoat instead, rain gloomily splatting against the pavement around me and on my hair. I really hoped Miles had his coat, I don't remember seeing it at home, so I really hoped he did.
I sighed, this day really wasn't going so far. As I drew closer to the house, I spotted Jack out of the corner of my eye. He was walking my way, great. His hair flopped down into a fringe due to the rain, but he still held that massive smirk that told everyone of his arrogance.
"Hey Luna! Don't you just love the rain!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"Look Jack, I'm picking up my brother, so how about you leave me alone?" I shrugged him off trying to move forward, only for him to block my path.
"Seriously, what I have said this time? I'm only trying to be nice." He furrowed his eyebrows, seemingly shocked at my cold shoulder.
"I just don't have time for this! I need to pick up my brother." I tried side-stepping him, only for him to stop me once me.
"Luna please, let me apologise for the way I've been acting, I've been a douche, and I'm sorry." he said, aggressively grasping my wrist, making me wince a little.
"You're hurting me, let me go." I let out in agony, just as thunder started to rumble around us. Great, a thunderstorm was on our hands.
"I will, but do you accept me apology?" Taking no notice of the weather around him, Jack still held my wrists within his strong grasp. I tried to get out of his grasp, but my body was heavy due to the extra weight of my wet clothes, which made it all the more harder to do so.
"Let go of her." A familiar voice said from behind Jack; Brooklyn. He was with Miles, making me presume he offered, or he parents asked of him, to bring Miles home. Luckily both of them wore the coats, not as drenched as I was.
"Shut up Beckham, no one's talking to you." Jack fired back, just as Miles stood to the side, anger all over his face, his eyes squinted in anger and to see clearer through the rain.
"Dude that's my sister, let her go or else!" He shouted, scrunching his fist into a ball as the rain still poured down, lightning now being prominent from the flash that appeared in front of our eyes and the rumble that shortly came after. It was close to us.
"Fine, go." Jack shoved me off of him, making me lose my balance and fall straight into the wet path behind me.
"That's it." Miles stated, about to lunge at Jack just as Brooklyn pulled him away, stating that 'he wasn't worth the effort.' I got up, another flash and loud bang finding it's way into my eyes and ears, the lighting literally a few centimetres away now.
"We've got to move." Brooklyn stated, quickly pulling up the sleeves on my leather jacket and checking me wrists, seeing the red marks there and whispering 'bastard.' We all started walking, Brooklyn trying to be modest by taking of his coat and giving it to me, which I refused. No way was I letting him freeze to death; even if it meant I was. We continued walking, the lightning's loud crashes against the earth making me more fearful by the minute.
We neared Miles' and my house now, and Brooklyn was about to state how he should get back. I offered for him to come round mine until the storm wasn't so bad, which he agreed was a better idea.
"We're back!" I yelled out, closing the front door behind me before taking off my trainers. I then requested for Brooklyn to do the same, which he followed. Miles did the same thing, and then ran away, getting towels for us three. Once we dried ourselves, I quickly informed Mum and Dad that Brooklyn was staying a while, which they were okay with.
We headed to my room.
"So, here we are again, the dreaded bedroom." Brooklyn chuckled.
"Yeah that room where everyone gets really weird and there is nothing to do apart from being real awkward." I stated back, making us both laugh.
"We don't have to be like that." Brooklyn replied, sitting down on my bed with a smile.
"Well, how?" I said, walking and sitting next to him.
"Like this." He leaned in, kissing me. It took me by surprise, but I found myself kissing him back. He put his hands half way up my arms, caressing them slightly as I gripped onto his face, deepening the kiss.
A/N:
Hey guys! I really hoped you liked this chapter. Don't worry, they don't go any further than kissing, but it really makes Luna questions herself. To be honest, I have really no idea what the plot is for this from now, but anyway, hope you are enjoying this and please vote and comment!
Love you all xx
Tom.
