"You ready Luna?" Dad asked, his hand getting comfortable on the wheel as I did my seatbelt. We were heading off to the Beckham's first, then to Heathrow to fly over to Los Angeles International. On the car ride to the Beckham's, I pretty much stayed silent, twiddling my thumbs in nervousness. Messing up my parent's plans is one thing, another was facing Brooklyn when I was so uncertain about the way I felt towards him.
"Luna, if you're feeling guilty about what you did, then it's okay. Things have a habit of working out in the end anyway." Dad's voice unravelled the deafening silence, and it was clear he knew how I was feeling through my actions, although his eyes never left the road in front of him.
"Yeah I guess you're right." I mumbled back, my voice coming out a little timidly, still not feeling fully convinced.
"Right, here we are." Dad said, pulling over next to the Beckham house. I was about undo my seatbelt when the door to their house opened, each member of the family piling out, David being the last, with their suitcases in hands. Brooklyn smiled at the sight of Dad's car, he walked behind the car, opening the car boot, placing his suitcase in and shutting it. Was he riding along with us? My thoughts were answered as Brooklyn opened up the back door, getting himself in the seat and buckling up himself.
"What's up Rick? Luna, its good to see you again." He smiled, and in the back of my mind I was secretly glad I had chosen to sit in the passenger seat next to Dad. I felt as if it would have been really awkward for me to sit next to Brooklyn.
"Good to see you Brook, how's your Dad?" Dad looked in the rear-view mirror, smiling at Brooklyn before turning his attention back to getting out of the parked position he was in. David's car seemed to have followed shortly after.
"He's good thanks; he said he'll talk to you when we get to Heathrow." After saying this, the car had gone silent other than the sound of its engine. I knew Brooklyn would have presumed something was wrong, so I decided to speak to him myself.
"I'm glad you're coming along Brook, it's going to be a lot less boring without you." I stated, making him throw out a laugh, Dad seemed to have sighed, but it was hard to tell considering Brooklyn's laugh was the most prominent sound in the moment.

A car journey full of laughs and simple chit-chat later, we had finally arrived at Heathrow. It was pretty busy; and not just in terms of people heading in and out; oh no, I'm talking about the pesky media being here, too.
The three of us got out of the car just as David's had pulled up. Security were already trying to make a path for us as the snapping of cameras and ridiculous questions surrounded us in a frenzy. Brooklyn got out his suitcase, holding it in his right hand. Dad went to David and the rest of the group. They both talked to a security guard, presumingly about their cars, and Brooklyn had made his way back over to me.
"I know we haven't really talked about our recent activities and what it means in terms of a relationship between us, but will you hold my hand?" He said, outstretching his free hand. I felt obliged to take it, and after confirming with the rest of the group with a nod of the head that we were going to head in, we made our way through the flashes of camera's and loud invading inquisitions of the media. One question in particular that I was able to catch upon through the dozens of other ones was "Luna, is what you said true?" I didn't think anything of it, so I ignored it just like I did with the rest of them.

With the help of security, we were finally able to get on the plane. Brooklyn sat right to me, in the middle seat and no one seemed to have sat right of him.
"So...." Brooklyn let out, only creating a delicate atmosphere; the results of which only seeming to make the connection between us vexatious.
"So....?" I responded, not really knowing how to respond.
"About earlier, what are we now?" He looked directly in my eyes, the seriousness of the question not even need questioning.
"I don't know." I shrugged. What were we?
"I was hoping it would mean you'd be my girlfriend, but if I'm getting the wrong idea please say ahah."
"No, no you're not. I just feel like we don't really know each other as much as we could."
"Well, how about I take you on a date first then?" After a few moments, of thinking about it, I decided. Why not?
"Sure."
A/N: Hey! I really hope you like this chapter. I feel like its well written, but let me know yourself haha.
Also, good luck to anyone with upcoming GCSE exams ( I know your pain, I have them too.)
I'm afraid this is the last chapter now until the May holidays! I really need to focus on exams, and maybe if I do find some time when I'm not revising, I'll write some, but that is very unlikely. Anyway, please vote and comment what you think! I know this book hasn't been very dramatic, but know that there is around 10/11 chapters left, and trust me, there is a huge plot twist coming up in the next chapter or two, so get prepared!
I love you all and your support! 10k is the highest amount of reads on any book that I've written, so thank you so so much!
Check out Leave Me Now, my other one! Fluuctuate co-writes, so it's probably 10x better than this one, considering how talented she is haha.
Anyway, I hope you are having a good day.
Love you all xx
Tom.
