Here you go. Another chapter to read. Hope you like it. Remember to give me your opinions.
Elsa never had time to look at her hand before showing other people.
Mr. Trank leans back in surprise.
Her hand is swollen a little bit, and purple, blue and green patches blotch her skin. It is surprising, since Elsa doesn't bruise easily. She must have hit her hand, hard.
"What happened, Miss?" Asks Mr. Trank. "I accidentally hit it on a brick wall." It wasn't an accident, but Elsa isn't going tell him that! Mr. Trank immediately drags her down to the infirmary, and hands her over to the nurse.
The nurse asks a few questions, then gives her an ice pack and a bandage. "It's not broken, but the bones are badly cracked. And keep an eye on that bruise on your forehead" The nurse explains. "Did you want me to call your parents?" Elsa quickly shakes her head. The last thing she wants, is to get her parents involved. After ten minutes of convincing the nurse, Elsa finally bounds out of the infirmary, and bolts to her next class.
People are staring at her, again! Elsa, red-faced, hands the teacher her note, and quickly darts to her seat. But not before the teacher asks Elsa to show her hand as proof. She nervously shows her hand then sits down.
Aphrodite is in that class. She looks at Elsa and mouths, "What happened?" Elsa shrugs and turns back to the teacher. Thankfully, Elsa missed English. Writing with her left hand is a challenge.
Wonderful, Elsa thinks as the teacher hands them an activity sheet, another activity to attempt. Picking up her pencil with her left hand, She attempts to write. She's only halfway through, when it was time to collect the papers.
"Miss Paly, please stay. I have to talk to you." The teacher, Mrs. Alec, says, saying her name wrong. Aphrodite shoots Elsa a look of sympathy. Elsa frowns. She hates sympathy. "Yes, Mrs. Alec?" Mrs.Alec motions to Elsa's activity sheet. "You only done half of your activity sheet. And it's extremely messy. Care to explain?" Elsa sighs. "Sorry, Mrs. Alec. I tried, but I'm terrible at writing with my left hand." Mrs. Alec's eyebrows raise. "I thought you're right-handed." Elsa turns red with embarrassment. "I am, but my right hand is injured, so I have to use my left hand." Mrs. Alec's face softens. "Oh. I'm sorry. You can be excused from any work needing your right hand, until it heals." Elsa's face reddens further, as she thought about the embarrassment it would create. "Umm, thanks, Mrs. Alec. May I go have lunch, now?" "Yes, Elsa. You may go have lunch. I'll see you next time. Bye. Hope your hand gets well." Elsa smiles, and waves goodbye, as she quickly escapes the room.
"What happened?" Asks Aphrodite. Elsa shrugs. "Mrs. Alec let me off assignments until my hand heals." "No, I mean what happened to your hand and head." "Nothing much. I just accidentally hit them." Lily leans over. "What did you hit them on?" "A wall." "It's the school wall, isn't it?"
"What school wall?" Aphrodite eyes them. "What it this I hear about the school wall?" "I-it's nothing. Don't listen to h-" Lily jumps in. "I found her out the front of the school, hitting her head on the wall." Aphrodite gasps. "What? Why?" "Because I'm stupid. That's why." "Nah. How?" "Look at this." Elsa throws her bag across the table. Aphrodite opens it, and looks in. "It's empty." "Exactly!" Shouts Elsa. "I was so stupid as to leave my assignments, my books, my lunch, and writing materials!" She bangs on the table with her head. Finally, Lily grabs Elsa's hair, and yanks her head back. "Stop hurting yourself already!" Elsa bites Lily, not in the mood to be safe. "Ouch! Elsa, why do you do that?! It's disgusting!" She quickly wipes the saliva off her hand. "I should be allowed to do what I want with myself. And biting is a weapon that works well." Lily sighs. "Just relax. We can share our lunch with you, and our teachers are nice enough to let in a bit more time to get your assignments in." "I know, but don't worry about lunch. I'm not really hungry anymore." Aphrodite and Lily trade glances. Something is up. "Did you see the two teens?" Asks Elsa, changing the subject. The two girls nod. "In the grade above. They've left us alone, so far." The bell rings for lunch break ending. The next class for Elsa is math. Ah, math. The subject where Elsa takes half hour to do one long division, then still has nine left to go. She hates math. Her math teacher has now given Elsa five sheets of long division. So much fun. He should know by now, that she can't do it. No one believes her when she says she can't do it.
Finally, school ends. After she says bye to her friends, she boards a bus for home. All she can think about now, is the eyes that seem to watch her wherever she goes. So, how was that? Please let me know. Sorry if it's still a bit boring, but it will get better. So if you like it, please vote. Thanks for reading.
