{Victor POV}
I looked over at the pork cutlet bowl. I wondered how strong his glasses were.
"Hey Yuri," I said, "Gimme your glasses."
"Why?" Yuri adjusted his glasses.
"I wanna try them on." I smirked and took the glasses off of him myself and put them on, "How do I look?"
"Umm I can't really see you that well, but I bet you look terrible." He chuckled.
"Rude." I gave him back his glasses, "Anyways, are you okay? Like about what happened yesterday? You were really out of it."
"Yeah... I'm okay. Yesterday just wasn't the most amazing day." He answered.
"Well, that's okay. You know, you can always talk to me. I'm not a therapist or anything but..."
But I want to get closer to you. I didn't let myself say the last part. I shouldn't have feelings for him, but I do. I'm not even sure what they are or how they developed, but they just suddenly appeared and decided to fuck up my brain.
"I know. Sometimes I just like to keep to myself." Yuri answered, "So, what do you want to do today?"
"I think we should take a day off and spend some quality time together. Maybe we could go shopping. The mall is supposed to have a bunch of pretty lights and cute shops and restaurants." I suggested, "You deserve it. Or, we deserve it, I suppose."
Yuri smiled. I loved seeing Yuri smile. It made me smile and feel happy.
"That sounds great." He agreed.
"I'll even let you eat a pork cutlet bowl." That made him smile even more and I felt so happy to seem him like that, "Just make sure you exercise after."
He scoffed, "Fine. As long as you exercise with me!"
*Timeskip*
We were at the mall. The sun was about to set and the festive lights were turning on. It was kind of close to Christmas and I wanted to give Yuri a gift. I just wasn't quite sure what I wanted to get him. I know so much yet so little about him. I want to learn more. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon so I can be his coach for a long time.
"This is really cool." Yuri said. I could see the Christmas lights in his eyes, "I haven't gone shopping here since I was a kid. A lot of things have changed."
"I bet they have. It's actually my first time coming here. I just saw something about it online and it looked cool, even though it is just a regular mall. It was something I wanted to go to since I'm still not very used to Japan." I explained.
"Hmm. That's nice. I'm glad we are shopping here together though." Yuri said.
Together. I liked the sound of that.
We were walking around for while and went to a few shops that looked interesting. Yuri posted a few things on his Instagram while we shopped and I did to. I wish there could be more nights like this. Nights where I didn't have to worry so much about every little thing. Nights like these should be treasured.
"I like this." Yuri said as he held up a keychain that was in the shape of an ice skate. I took it out of his hand and looked at the price. It was wasn't that expensive so I bought it as well as another one.
"Hey! I was going to buy that!" Yuri whined.
"That's why I bought two." I smiled and handed him the other keychain, "Now we can each have matching keychains."
"You didn't have to do that." Yuri blushed.
"Whatever. It's fine." I said as we walked out of the store, wondering what there was to do next. I suddenly got an idea and decided to share it with Yuri.
"We should get you inspired." I said randomly.
"What do you mean?" Yuri asked.
"Like, climb a mountain or something."
"Victor, you can't just randomly climb a mountain. There is a lot of training that comes with it." Yuri rolled his eyes.
"Whatever. Well, it is getting a little crowded, so it seems like a good time to find another place to go to. Any suggestions?" I asked him.
He shook his head. I did have a small idea. I came across a bench when I was going on a run recently. It had a perfect view of the ocean and the ships, if there were any sailing. Maybe I could take him there. I took Yuri's hand and gestured him to follow me. Luckily, he understood.
Once we got into a more quiet area, Yuri spoke, " Where are we going?"
"Somewhere close." I answered and continued to walk. Finally I began to recognize the area, and I saw the bench. I walked up to it and sat down, and sighed. Yuri sat down next to me.
"Hey, this was really nice. Thanks for letting us do this." Yuri thanked me quietly, "I don't think I have been here before. How did you find this place?"
"I just came across it when I was on a run. To be honest, I got lost. Really lost."
Yuri started laughing, "How many times have you gotten lost?"
"That my friend, is a secret." I smiled and looked at him, "Hey Yuri, how old are you? I forgot."
He tensed up, "How the hell did you forget my age? That's not something you can just go around and forget, Victor!"
"My bad!" I scratched the back of my head.
"I'm twenty-three, by the way. Don't forget this time." Yuri confirmed.
"Sorry, what did you say? I wasn't listening."
That made Yuri look at me, "Idio-
Then I brought my face close to his and connected our lips, kissing him. As I let go, his eyes were wide and his face was red. I laughed.
"What was that for?" I heard him mumble.
"What was what for? I wasn't paying attention."
A/N
Helloooo. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Kinda rushed it but oh well.
Now that I think about it, I should probably spell Victor as Viktor since he's Russian and all, and I see it spelled like that in many places. But where I watched the anime they spelled it as "Victor" so I'm kinda used to that. Bear with me here! And I'm just too lazy to change all of those "c's" to a "k."
Anyways, thanks for reading. :)
