And Then It Happened

Chapta 4

Sally saw her little brothers face fall and his shoulders dropped. She heard him mumble I'm sorry and all her anger quickly seeped away. She felt very mean. she didn't mean to make him cry. " it's ok" she said "c'mon let's go"

When ben heard his sister accept his apology he felt so relieved. "ok," he said " last one in the car does the dishes" he yelped as he ran down the stairs

Sally heard her brother squeal something and then he raced down the stairs. She sprinted after him.

Jarvis was sitting in the drivers seat. He was listening to the radio. The 7th song was about to end when he saw the two children sprinting from the house. They dove into the car..

"I won" panted Ben out of breath but a smile on his face he heard his sister reply.

Sally was completely out of breath when she accepted defeat. Her reply was "fine, but I'm not doing the dishes. Jarvis don't forget to pick up Jake." "Oh of course not. I would never madam." Jarvis said in his most butlerest voice. Sally and Ben laughed. They played this game a lot with their butler.

"Oh and bring me a spot of tea with some crumpets while your at it." Sally replied erupting in giggles. Of corse she didn't mean it, but it was fun to tease their butler. It got pretty lonely with their parents always away on business trips and whatever else filthy rich parents do. The car pulled out of the driveway*

Jake was sitting in his driveway when they arrived to pick him up. Sally still couldn't believe how amazingly gorgeous he was, even though they'd been dating for over a year now. He looked a lot like dean winchester (jake even had a similar haircut) from her favorite T.V show supernatural.

They were in the same grade, 11th. he was 16, but 1/2 a foot taller than her and built like a total jock, even though he wasn't interested in playing sports. He preferred to spend his time volunteering at the local animal shelter, or ridding his many horses. The shelter was actually how they met! They had both been assigned to exercise the puppies, which actually just meant playing with them.

She still remembered the first time she saw him, wrestling with a couple of chocolate lab puppies. She had walked up to the fenced play area and there he was, a total god, lying on the ground laughing. Sally loved his laugh. She had opened the gate and walked in just as one of the puppies lept for the gate. Jake had sat up and grabbed him just in time, and pushing his amazing dark brown hair out of his colbalt blue eyes he looked up into her eyes, smiled his perfect smile, and said hey. And that was it, Sally was hooked.

It only took a week after that for him to ask her out, an another two days after that first date for him to ask her to be his girlfriend. All her friends at school were jealous, and the populars hated her more that ever now, cuz they had all been eyeing him for months. And now here he was walking toward the car and after throwing his bag in the back, ( he was staying the night again) sat in the middle, between her and Ben...

"Hey beautiful!" Jake said and he leaned in and kissed her.

"Oh yuck!" Ben mime vomited. Jake, still kissing Sally, took of his hat and threw in at Ben.

Not in a mean way, but a teasing way, he loved Ben like the little brother he never had, he being an only child, and Ben thought of him as a big brother.
