Jake clutched the wallet to his chest, sobbing uncontrollably. His tears were a mixture of grief and elation.

When the sobs finally subsided, Jake stood up and set out to find her. A new determination burned in his heart. It seemed to melt away a little of the pain. The burning fire pushed him onward. And he felt as though with every step he took, he was getting closer and closer to the love of his life. With each step he felt the band that tied their souls together getting stronger. He knew as long as he still felt this tie to her, that she must be alive.
