Ben sat there utterly terrified... Watching the light seep out of Sally's eyes.
"Sally!?" Ben screamed. He didn't know what to do. He felt as though his heart would burst.. There was a dark whole and it was growing bigger and bigger. Ben felt his blood turn to ice. His sister meant everything to him. She had always been there for him, and now when she needed him most, he had no idea how to help.
Ben stared into his sisters blank, emotionless face. She looked so empty and it broke his heart.
"Sally please! Don't go" Ben pleaded. Tears seeped out of his eyes before he could stop them. He collapsed onto the ground. His body wracked with sobs.
He wrapped his arms around his sister. it was hard to do because Sally still had her arms wrapped around her knees. Ben sat like that for how long he did not know.
When Ben finally unwrapped his arms from around his sister the black sky was turning gray from the rising sun
