_6 Years Before_
"You don't understand Tom, I'm done! I'm sick and tired of being ignored! You don't give me any attention anymore! Do you know how that makes me feel?" My mom said forcing tears back.
"Look I'm so-"
"NO, there is no more sorries! I'm leaving you to rot in hell where you belong!". I saw that she had already packed her things and was leaving without a good bye to me. She didn't even look back. But even though I was hurt, I forgave her because my dad really didn't pay attention to my mom and me. We were like shadows in the night, never being seen, only seeing each other. But now........ Who do I have?
I went back upstairs and into my room, hopping on the bed with my hands rubbing my face. What do I do now? Life has officially changed and I am all alone. No one to talk to or to love, just me in a room alone. Then my phone vibrated and I quickly snatched it from the nightstand.
From Mom: I'm sooooo sorry baby but I can't stand it any longer and yes I saw you watching us! I just hope you forgive me?
I smiled, how could I not forgive her? If I was her I would do the same thing and would never regret it. Ok maybe I would regret leaving my child but I would finally be on my own.
To Mom: Yes I forgive you mom and I will always love you! I get why you left and I don't blame you at all!
From Mom: thank you and love you to! Get some sleep, Bales!
I smiled and fell asleep with my mom on mind.
