Chapter 6
Lilly’s POV
Everyone was getting ready for the welcome home part for a girl named Alison, nickname Ali. I was sitting at the kitchen table alone as everyone was excited getting ready for the BBQ. The doorbell went off and I got up and went to the door. I opened it so see a girl smiling back at me; she beamed a smile at me.
“I am Alison, Devin’s sister, and who are you?”
“I’m Lillian” I said and opened the door wider she walked in and smiled as the girls came running towards her, they threw their arms over Ali and brought her into a big hug. Ali then through me her bags,
“Please take those to my room”
“Your room?”
“You are the new maid, aren’t you?”
An arm went around my waist and tingles shot up through me. I looked over at Devin,
“Lillian is my mate and Julian’s twin sister, not a maid Ali”
“Oh, Sorry” Ali said before turning her attention to Devin,
“Devin!” she squealed before wrapping Devin up into a hug, I ducked out of the way and glanced around before walking upstairs to my room or well Devin’s room.
I got ready for the BBQ, putting on jeans, a black T-shirt with short red sleeves and black converse. I untied my pony tail and let my dirty blonde hair fall down to my back in waves. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought back to what those girls had said, was I truly weak and pathetic?
“Perfection” a deep voice rung out, I looked behind me to see Devin.
He was wearing a dark T-shirt which lined up his muscles, dark jeans and black boots. He walked up to me and brought me to him in a hug,
“Sorry about my sister, she can be clueless at times”
Nodded and wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face into his chest,
“Devin…?” I muttered, “Do you think I would make a bad beta female?”
“No Lilly, don’t listen to those girls, I think you would make a great beta female”
I nodded and pulled back, I smiled up at Devin and then grabbed his hand shyly,
“Come on lets go”
We walked out to the backyard where everyone was laughing and having fun, we were about to eat when a guy came up to Julian naked, Devin put me behind him, blocking me behind him.
“Alpha there are two rouges just west of here”
Julian nodded and the guy shifted back into a wolf. We all followed and Julian threw some clohes at the two wolves,
“Shift” he commanded.
They went behind a tree and shifted, a guy and girl came out, and the girl cowered behind the gurl.
“Mate” Ricky and Ali said, their eyes landing on the rouges.
