After laying awake and having a heated self debate for half of the night, Jungkook finally decided to not go to the coffee shop the next morning. He was too distracting and he didn't need this in his life.

He hadn't stopped thinking about the guy when he was at work, but it was even worse when he came back home. None of the things he usually did which kept him occupied seemed to distract him today. He tried watching tv shows, reading his book, cooking, going on facebook, but nothing seemed to help. When he eventually gave up and decided he would have an early night, it was even worse. Not only did he keep thinking about a random stranger, but he just confused himself. He failed to understand why this guy wouldn't leave his thoughts. He couldn't understand why he kept thinking about this guy so much. What was so special about him? He just worked in a coffee shop.

But the real question was, what wasn't special about him?

One second he was fighting for spare time and never seemed to have any, and the next, he seemed to have all the time in the world which he had no idea how to spend.

He was speechless. Clueless, like a lost puppy, couldn't comprehend what had struck him. Overnight his whole perspective on life changed.

And he just couldn't figure out why.

The next morning he woke up and remembered his decision. He was hit by a wave of immense sorrow accompanying this memory, like somehow a thousand black clouds had been heaped onto his shoulder. He walked into the kitchen, preparing himself a cup of French press coffee, seeing as he wouldn't be buying one from the coffee shop this morning.

He stepped out into the cool, fresh air with a tumbler in his hand, sipping his homemade coffee. He started on his usual route to his office, which unfortunately had the coffee shop on the way. He became warier and more nervous with every step he took nearing the coffee shop even though he wasn't going to go in. He deliberately stared at the opposite direction to the shop as he got closer and closer, trying too hard like a child helplessly trying not to look at his closet, afraid of a terrifying monster that could be lurking inside. As he reached the coffee shop his feet defied him and before he knew it, he took a left turn and entered right into the coffee shop. The ring of the bell as he opened the door brought him back to his senses. Everyone was dull and depressing as always, staring at their electronics, seemingly unaffected by the internal crisis he was facing. But again, there was the guy, beaming like a beacon straight across from him. He was actually shining, glowing like a bright star with his charming smile.

Jungkook walked towards the beacon like a lost fly finding light at last. He had surprised himself by making such a rash decision, his body defying his utterly sensible decision, but he couldn't help it. Something about this guy was too damn irresistible.

"Good morning...Taehyung," Jungkook said, shyly leaning in to read the guy's nametag. Finally, he had a name to put to this gorgeous face.

"Good morning to you too, gorgeous! Medium peppermint latté?"

Jungkook's heart stopped for a moment. He called him gorgeous! And most of all, he remembered! Out of all his customers, Taehyung remembered his order! Maybe he was just good with customers and remembered all the orders he got. Which was quite a plausible explanation considering he seems to be so enthusiastic and cheerful all the time. And plus, his wasn't a difficult order to remember. But that didn't stop the butterflies in his stomach to flutter rapidly inside him, like they were all high on caffeine and were struggling in a fight of life or death to escape from inside of him.

"Um, yes please, that would be nice." Jungkook cursed himself. Why did he have to always be so awkward and stupid? He must look SO dumb. Quick. Make up for it. Say something that makes you look smart and confident.
