A Summer to Remember

My name is Kayla Bright, and I've been dreaming of this day for a long time,highschool graduation. And why am I so excited about it?Because I get to go to Australia with my 2 best friends,Amelia and Ruby. We've dreamed about going there together for a very long time even though we didnt think it would ever happen. Although we were wrong,it actually was going to! Our parents gave us permission to go only if it was after highschool and if we paid for the flight to get there.Somehow we got the money and couldnt wait to leave! Our graduation was Saturday at 10:00am on May 22nd,and we planned to leave Tuesday, at 3:00pm on May 25th.

Kayla's POV

Im so excited!I just woke up on this Sunday morning. I hopped out of bed to go take a shower,after I got out I put on my jeans,a black tanktop with a black jacket,and black converse. I then grabbed my skateboard and headed to Ruby's house. She walked out the door with her skateboard while wearing her ripped jeans,grey jacket that said "haters gonna hate" on the back,and grey converse. We talked for a minute then went to Amelia's house to help her pack. We knocked atleast 3 times before her mom opened the door and welcomed us in. She said that Amelia was upstairs,and that we could just go up there. Once we were up there,we saw that Amelia had already started packing cause she was so excited! We began packing all her clothes,her swimsuit,her shoes,and then her hair stuff. When we were finally done we then went to Braums for ice cream!Amelia got chocolate chip cookie dough,Ruby got plain chocolate, and I got mint chocolate chip! We talked and laughed for about an hour and then decided to go to Ruby's house and help her pack. So after we finished our icecream(which was delicious by the way!) we headed to Ruby's house. Once we got there, we helped Ruby pack and by the time we were done it was 8pm,so me and Amelia headed home.

Amelia's POV

Today was so much fun!I cant wait till Tuesday!Me,Kayla and Ruby are gonna have so much fun in Australia!Sun tanning on the beach,playing beach volleyball,surfing and more!!I just cant wait!!!Well,time to go to bed!

Its morning now and me and Ruby are supposed to be going to Kayla's house today to get ready for Australia. So I hopped in the shower and then changed into my shorts,blue t-shirt and black jacket,a black beanie and and black converse and headed for Kayla's house.

Ruby's POV

After I woke up,I changed into my shorts,grey tanktop and grey jacket with "haters gonna hate" on the back(my favorite jacket!) and grey converse. When I walked out my door to go to Kayla's house,I saw Amelia riding on her skateboard past my house,so I yelled,"Hey Amelia!Wait up!" so as soon as she heard me she stopped and yelled back,"Oh hey!We can walk together now!" so we were on our way.

Kayla's POV

After I changed I looked out my window and saw Ruby and Amelia walking up the driveway. As I saw them,I opened my window and yelled,"Hey guys!come on up!" After I heard the door to my room open,they were standing in the doorway ready to help me pack!After we were done packing we just hung out in my room and listened to some music and then it was time for them to go. That night I layed in bed thinking about all the things we would do in Australia!As I was thinking,I fell asleep in my warm,cozy bed.
