A Summer to Remember

First Day at the Beach

Kayla's POV

I couldnt wait to go to the beach...i just know its gonna be so much fun! Anyway,Amelia went in her and Ruby's bathroom first, while I went in mine. I put on my blue and black bikini, and slipped on some jean shorts and a white tanktop and then walked in Ruby and Amelia's bedroom to wait for them."Y'all ready? Ruby,why haven't u changed?"I asked. "Because SOMEONE is taking too long." Ruby responded. Amelia walked out in her favorite bikini-her black and white polka dotted one- and some black shorts.And just so you know, she never wears a swimsuit without shorts. Which I just think that's weird, buts thats just her.

Amelia's POV

I only came out because I know Ruby was waiting on me. So as I came out I slipped on a dark blue tanktop. Ruby walked out in a teal/turquoise bikini and and jean shorts on. "Ruby here," I said handing her a black tanktop. "I don't need that!" Ruby responded while throwing it on the bed. "Ruby you really should, were not going to the beach right away..." Kayla said. "Oh alright, I guess I should then..." Ruby said while picking up the tanktop.

Ruby's POV

"Okay lets go! I can't wait to get out there!" I said excitedly. "I know me either! Amelia and Kayla both said. As we stepped of the elevator, there was this really cute guy with black shaggy hair and green eyes at the front desk, who must've been checking in. "Hey guys, look" Kayla said motioning to the guy at the front desk. "Oooohh, he's cute!" Amelia said. Both me and Kayla agreed. "Have a nice day ladies!" He said while winking at Amelia.

Kayla's POV

*gasp* "Did you see that?! He just winked at you!" I said excitedly. "Yes! He did!" Amelia said while smiling. " Ahh, oh wait, u don't even know his name...well, don't worry, ill find him later for you!" Ruby said. We then walked acroacross the road to the beach."Wait, I thought we weren't coming over here first?" Ruby asked. "I think she was kidding," Amelia giggled. "Yah, I just said that to get u to put that on,"I said motioning to the tanktop. "REALLY!"  Ruby said. "Yep," I said quietly while smiling. "Hey! Y'all wanna play some volleyball with us?" a guy said that was playing with like 6 other guys."Um sure!" I said. "Okay great'" He said,"oh and my names Ethan!" he said.

Amelia's POV

We decided to play volleyball with some guys since they asked. And right now, Ruby looks like she's in love with the guy (Ethan) that just asked us. It was probably now 10 min into the game and Ethan went to spike it, Ruby was just staring at him and apparently didn't realize that the ball was coming right at her. "Ruby, look out!" Kayla yelled. But it had hit her right in the head and had made her fall. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry, are u okay?" Ethan asked while holding out his hand to help her up. "Yah, I'm fine" Ruby said while brushing sand off of her. When she looked up, their eyes met and stared at eachother while smiling. It was getting kinda awkward now then I look over to someone yelling. "YO! dude, go get the ball!" one of Ethan' s friends yelled."Oh yah, right." Ethan responded. After smiling at Ruby as he passed her, he went back to his side."Game on!" said one of the guys.
