Broken Heart

Amelia's POV        (Wednesday)

I just woke up and I saw that Ruby was already up. "Hey, do u know if Kayla is up?" I asked. "No I'm not sure...we'll I hear her moving so she must be awake." Ruby said. "Yah...hey, wanna make her breakfast?!" Amelia said. "Yah, good idea!Let's make bacon and eggs!" Ruby said. "Okay!" Amelia said. After we made the eggs and bacon, we got it all ready and brought it to her room. "Heyy!" we said while walking in. "Hey..." Kayla responded. "We have breakfast for you!" I said. "I'm not hungry," Kayla said. "Kayla you have to eat!" Ruby said.

Kayla's POV

I was just laying in bed, and that's what I planned on doing the eat of the day. Amelia and Ruby keep trying to get me to eat, but I cant, I'm to upset to eat.

-the next day-

Amelia's POV

"Today's the day!" I screamed, and then leaped out of bed. Ruby was still asleep so I decided to wake her up because I wanted this place SPOTLESS! "Get up!!" I yelled. I then headed over to Kayla's room. She was awake but she was just staring at the ceiling. I then jumped on her bed and said, "Guess what day it is!" I said excitedly. "Go away!" She said. "Get up!Derek is coming today, so your gonna put a smile on your face and be happy, Okay?" I yelled. "Okay.."I said.

Kayla's POV

After Amelia yelled at me I got up and checked my phone. I had 36 texts from Austin, and 9 missed calls from him. I went through them all, most of them said stuff like...Where are u? Are u okay? I'm worried about you, please answer! But I just put my phone down and went out to the kitchen. When I got out there, I found Amelia running around the living room picking things up. "Um, what are you doing?" I asked. "What am I doing?? The question is WHAT ARE YOU DOING! I'm cleaning!" Amelia said. "Um alright, well I'm gonna go back to my room now..." I said. "What's wrong with you!!" Amelia said. "Oh, nothing, nothing at all...oh, other then the fact that I saw my BOYFRIEND KISSING ANOTHER GIRL!" I yelled with tears in my eyes and ran to my room.

Amelia's POV

I felt bad after what Kayla said...I got too caught up in the fact that Derek was coming so I forgot about what happened to Kayla. "Woah, what's going on out here?" Ruby said. "I kinda forgot about what happened to Kayla...and was being hard on her...I'm just excited that Derek is coming today..." I said. "Oh...u better go talk to her then..she's probably crying again.." Ruby said. "Yah I'm going to now," I said while walking to her room. "Hey...I'm so sorry, I was too excited that Derek's coming today that I forgot what happened...I'm sorry Kayla," I said while sitting down on the bed. "It's okay...I know your just excited." Kayla said. Atleast she wasn't mad at me, although she was still crying. "Well we're gonna go make some tea," I said. "Okay,I'll be in here," Kayla said while slightly smiling.

(in the kitchen)

When we walked out of Kayla's room, we heard a knock at the door. "I wonder who that is...it couldn't be Derek, he doesn't come till 3," I said. When I opened the door, Austin was standing in the doorway. "Is Kayla here?" Austin said. "Yah..but shes...sick," I said. "Oh, well can I come in to see her?" Austin asked. "No sorry...she's contagious," I lied. "Contagious with what?" Austin asked. "Chicken pox," Ruby said while walking to the door. He gave us a weird look then said,"Really?" he said clearly not believing us. Just then, Kayla came out of her room, not realizing we were at the door. "Hey, I thought y'all were making tea?" Kayla said. "Kayla!" Austin yelled while trying to get passed us. As soon as she heard his voice, she dropped the cup she was holding and ran back to her room in tears. "We'll talk to you later, sorry we have to go," I said while closing the door.

Kayla's POV

Oh my God,I didn't realize Austin was at the door...I was just laying on my bed crying when Amelia and Ruby came in. "Sorry guys, I didn't realize he was out there!" I said. "It's fine, we took care of it," Amelia said. "What did u tell him?" I asked. "Basically that you were sick, " Amelia said. "Then we closed the door!" Ruby added. I kinda laughed then said,"Oh okay." "He seemed really worried about you," Ruby said. Amelia's phone was now ringing...she then hung up after a few minutes. "That was Derek! His plane just landed!" Amelia said. "Great!" I said with a fake smile. "Hey, you need to cheer up!" Amelia said. "Yah, hey, on the bright side...now your free to date whoever you want!" Ruby said. "Is wanted to date him!!!" I said while crying even more. "Nice going Ruby," Amelia said. "Sorry...I was just trying to cheer u up...but clearly I'm not helping..so I'm gonna go out there now," Ruby said while walking out. "Look, you don't need him," Amelia said. "I know I dont, he lied to me...I just can't believe he kissed her!" I said. "yah, I know...but it'll get better in the next few days," Amelia said.
