Chapter 11

Kayla's POV

Me and Ruby are just sitting at a table waiting for Will and Amelia to get done talking..I wonder what they're talking about..."Hey, what do u think they're talking about?" I asked Ruby."Um, I'm not sure...but whatever it is Amelia seems upset.."  Ruby answered."Yah, it looks like she doesn't wanna talk." I said. "Yah, I wonder what's wrong." Ruby said. "Hey u wanna go to a store and then come back and see if their done?" I questioned."Yah sure!" Ruby said while getting up. We then started to walk toward them, when we got closer to them, I heard Amelia say "Will,stop I don't wanna talk about it right now," but that's all I heard. "Hey guys, we're gonna go look around then come back...we'll let y'all talk," I said. "No its okay, we're done, let's go," Amelia quickly said while getting up and pulling us along. Before Will could say anything Amelia kept walking."Amelia what's wrong?" me and Ruby asked."I don't wanna talk about it right now, I'll tell y'all at home," Amelia said. "Okay, but lets have fun right now then!" Ruby said."Hey wanna go in here?" Amelia asked while looking at Forever 21."Yah I love this store!" I said."Welcome to Forever 21!" The lady at the counter said. We just smiled and kept walking. "Guys look!" Ruby said while holding a turquoise cross back tank top."Cute! Try it on!" I said. "okayy!" Ruby said. We all grabbed some stuff and then went to try them on. I came out in a black flowery off shoulders cropped top. "That's so cute, it looks good on u!" Ruby said. "Of course it looks good on u! U should get it!" Amelia said."Maybe I will! I need to try on these other shirts first," I said while laughing. After trying some things on, we decided to leave and go back to the apartment. I really wanna know what's wrong with Amelia..."Hey Amelia, so do you wanna talk about it wen we get home?" I asked."Yah, I don't wanna see Will though." Amelia said. "Come on he isnt---" I started to say but then saw Will,he walked Into the elevator just as we were. "Oops," I said quietly. "Hey guys!," Will said. "Hey!" I said. He was now staring at Amelia but she wouldn't look at him."Hey Amelia," Will said. Amelia just ignored him and still wouldn't look at him. "Um okay." Will said. We then hit his floor, he looked confused but walked off.

"What was that all about?" I asked."I'll tell y'all wen we get to the room," Amelia said. "Okay.." Me and Ruby both said.

(Back at the apartment)

"Okay...I'll tell u now," Amelia said."Okay" we said."I'm back together with Derek," Amelia said while slightly smiling. Me and Ruby just stayed quiet for a minute, I can't believe they're back together. Derek is Amelia's ex boyfriend back in California. But I guess her boyfriend now. "Y'all got back together? Why!?"Ruby said."Well we talked for awhile last night...and basically about everything in our relationship and he said never stopped loving me...and as y'all know...I never stopped loving him either!" Amelia said."Aww that's so sweet!" I said."Yah I know!" Amelia exclaimed."Yah that is! But...what are we gonna do about Will..." Ruby said."Ohh, um..I'm not sure...I do like him, just not that way..I would love him to be a close friend though" Amelia said."Yah...I don't know if he feels the same way though...I think he wants to be more..." I said."Yah, I think so too," Ruby said."Yah.." Amelia said,"Well...I'll talk to him in a few days about it.."  "Okay..sounds good" I said. "Okay, so now for your date!" Ruby said."Yah! We have to get u ready!" Amelia said."Okay, so u get your hair all pretty and we'll be back!" Ruby said while opening the door."Wait where are y'all going? Wait" I started to say but was interrupted by Amelia."Bye!" She said while closing the door. Since they left I just decided to go fix my hair.

Ruby's POV           (Back at the mall)

"Okay!Let's go in here! We have to find the PERFECT dress for her!" I said excitedly."Yah! What about this?" Amelia asked while holding a blue short dress."That's cute,but it needs to be fancier," I said."Oh my gosh, look!" I said."That one, we need to get that one!" Amelia said while smiling."Yah I agree!" I said. It was a red sexy short dress, it was absolutely beautiful! We were now back at the apartment and we're going up the elevator. "Hey Kayla! We're back!" I said."Oh hey! Kayla said while walking out of her room."Your hair is so pretty!" Me and Amelia said."Aww thankss! Kayla responded."Guys...One problem..what am I going to wear?" Kayla asked."You are gonna wear this," I said while holding up the dress."Where did u get that! And no, I don't want to wear a dress!" Kayla said."Maybe u don't want to, but u need to! It's your first date with him, wear it!" Amelia said."No, I can just wear nice jeans with a fancy shirt." Kayla said."Nope, come on, your gonna wear it!" I said while pushing it at her."Come on Kayla, you'll look great in it, and Austin will love it!" Amelia said."No! u know I don't like dresses," Kayla responded."Yah, but I bet Austin would! Wear it!!!" I said while holding her against the wall."Come on, please Kayla," Amelia said. It was silent, and then she finally responded."Okay..." Kayla said."So you'll wear it?!" Me and Amelia both yelled."Yes," Kayla said while smiling and taking the dress. She's now in the bathroom and I know it will look great on her! "What do y'all think?" Kayla said while smiling."Oh my God..." Ruby said."U look absolutely amazing," Amelia said."Yah u do, u look beautiful," Ruby said. "Aww thanks guys," Kayla said.
