Chapter 11 I need to talk to you

I need to talk to you....

These words were running through my mind. What does she want to talk about? Mamy things were running through my mind. I had never seen Lilly in this mood before. She was always playful and fun. These types of things were rare and when her mood is like that there is something..... something serious.

Lilly 's POV

I smashed the locker after taking my belongings.

"Let's-" I was about to complete the sentence when I saw that no one was there. Ugh! Emily! I knew her impatient ass won't wait. But I understand she must be distracted by something or maybe Tyler wanted to go anywhere and then Emily couldn't say No and that's how they went.

Well they must be in the library I guess cause their favourite place is that. Duh boring people.

I was walking through the corridors
No one was there. Wow! I went ahead passing all the classes. Suddenly I heard a voice "wow! Someone is Miss Lonely here right " I turned to see who was there and saw the bully, not mine though only, Emily's bully.

"What do you want COWARD!" I said tying to emphasise on the last word. Seriously what is the problem with this guy. I don't just hate him cause he bullies My best friend Emily but I also hate him cause he is arrogant and never minds his own business.

"Ooh! So have you been dumped by your best friend?"

"No way! What makes you think that! You moron!!" I gritted my teeth at his statement. What is on his mind this time!?

He gave me a death glare and then said in his bitter tone "Oh really!? But I am seeing that Emily is replacing you with the 'new' guy isn't he??

Realization hit me right after those words came out of his mind. Was Emily really replacing me? Was she making a new friend instead of me? NO! NO! It can't be.

"Are you stupid!? No!" I replied

Steve and his friends started to laugh and then that stupid smirk spread across his ugly face. "Haha! Lilly you are so stupid! You are such a loser! You are being cheated by someone as stupid as Emily!  Come on she is replacing you. Just look how happy she is with Tyler. She is spending more time with him. It's just their first day of friendship but she is already attached with him... more than you. Just see by yourself. She even chose him in her project rather than you... And went away with him rather than staying with you. You are so stupid. You need to understand she is giving signs to you that she wants to break the friendship. .."

What the hell was he saying! ?
"Woah! Does that mean you were following us and stalking on us!?" I said while glaring at him.

"Whatever" he replied "I am just telling you that you are being replaced and if you don't break your friendship now, Emily will break it in a worse way........" And after saying that he left leaving me with a lot of questions, doubts and confusions...

Maybe he was telling the truth. Emily was really happy with him even on 1st day. So does that mean Emily has found a new and better friend?  Does she want to replace me with my own cousin Tyler? What is happening!?

I headed towards the library and saw that Tyler and Emily both were coming out of the library laughing like 5 years old kids.

I told her I wanted to talk to her but still she said just listen to Tyler. Which made me even more angrier and I said angrily "I said NOW!" Emphasising the last word.

Emily's POV

"Yeah, so what happened?" I asked in my nervous tone.

"Emily I don't want to say that but......... I-I need to break my friendship with you!!"

Those words stabbed me real hard.  Those were the worst words I have ever heard.  How can my childhood friend do this to me!? What crawled up her brain this time!? What happened actually!? I wanted to ask her so many questions but all that came from my mouth was "B-but w-why?"

"Come on Emily stop acting like you care! It's so obvious that you want Tyler as a friend rather than me!"

"NO, Lilly you are the best friend I have ever had! You think I am replacing you!?"

"Oh yes! You are! Just as.... just as.... u mmmm Steve said!"

"Woah! Woah!  So you are believing my biggest enemy! Lilly obviously he will try to do something to our friendship! How can you believe that person who who will do anything to destroy, to ruin Me! He must be telling lies!!!!!"

Lilly looked up at me and said "I know he is your bully and whatever but I realized that whatever he said was true!  Whatever he meant was exactly correct! I realized now! It's Steve who woke me up from my blind trust on you!"

"NO! Lilly you.... can't do this!" Tears were welling up in my eyes. I tried my best not to cry at what my best friend I have ever had said.

"Whatever Emily!  You go live your own life and I live my own! Bye... forever!"

After saying that she left. I couldn't help and I sat down and burst into tears. How could she do this!? It's all Steve's fault! My whole world is shattered. The only friend which I said was my sister... left me. Because of a stupid argument rather than going over all the misunderstandings! The truth is that no one can really be my friend! The truth is I am really a loser, who even lost her best long lasting friend. I wish it was all a dream! Why did all of this happen!? I was crying so much. My own thoughts were killing me...

Just then I heard someone say "Emily! Are you okay!?" I quickly wiped my tears away. I turned to see who he was and he was just who I wanted right now.... Tyler.

I ran and hugged him, still crying my eyes out.

"Sush! Don't cry! I overheard your and Lilly's conversation. I am really sorry.  It's all my fault."

"No it's not! It's Steve who did this! He took my only friend!" I looked up to face Tyler and said "You will never leave ne right!?"

"No way! I won't! I will never leave you! I will be always there for you!"

I stopped crying and smiled at him.  Tyler was really. .really the best person......... :)

I hope what he said was what he meant...
