Chapter 13 Just show him

Emily's POV

"Yeah! Tyler! Okay, okay! Just come! I gathered all we need for the project. Nothing's remaining!!" I screamed on the phone

"Oh! Are you sure!? We don't need nothing right? Okay okay I am coming!"

I rolled my eyes and ended the call. Gee that boy can be so annoying sometimes.

I went in the living room. Tyler was coming over for the chemistry project. He is smart he will be a great help! Well not to be self-centered but I am smart too. Wow! Its gonna be the best project lol.

Just as I was thinking about the project, there was a knock at the door.

I opened it and found..,TYLER!

Thank God not anyone who I imagined.

"Come in!"

Tyler just nodded and came in. "Okay so let's go! Em!"

I just smiled and nodded in response and lead him towards my room.

Tyler just sat on the bed and made him comfortable over there.

"Excuse me! But you are here for the project. Not for chilling!" I scolded him playfully

Tyler just groaned and stood up. "Okay! Fine! Whatever you say. Let's just get over with this shit."

I chuckled and we started on our project.

"And here we go!" I squealed as we both took sighs of relief after completing our time consuming and exhausting project.

"Well. Look after all our hard work took us to such an amazing project!" Tyler smiled and looked at the project with his eyes sparkling as diamonds.

I chuckled and asked "so what's your plan for today?"

"Nothing. Just bored mom and dad ....aren't home."

"Me too. But where are your parents?"

Tyler took a deep sigh and looked at me right in the eye. "I don't think my parents even care about me..."

"W-why do you think that?"

"I don't know why. They never seem to. They just go early in the morning and come back late at night or maybe the other day. I hardly even have time to just say a hello to them. Whenever I call them they seem to be busy."

"I understand Tyler. Maybe they have work or their own reasons but they are still your parents and will love you forever. At least you have parents unlike me who......." I stopped wiping a tear.

Tyler hugged me and gave me a 'I am here for you' look. I smiled and said "Hey! Let's just watch a movie!"

"Oh girl! Yes! Sounds good. Which one?"

"What about Suicide squad  and Swordfish."

"Oh yeah! I will go and get some popcorns from the nearest store."

But before he left obviously he started telling be some lame jokes and I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
